You must still be in high school

He's a good AHL player, but I'd like a guy with more skill to try to pick up some of Datsyuk's slack. Tardiff is a good guy, but he's just a journeyman AHL player. And I know all of you fight slappies will tell me how I'm wrong and what not, but there have been many AHL players to put up a lot of points in the AHL and never be able to transition to a higher league.

So these are the lines eh: That third paring has so much suck on it, when it comes to pinching and playing in their own zone. The second line looks like the only line that will produce. Franzen floats and Zata sucks for 55 minutes before he somehow gets the job done. Also:

Datsyuk out 4-5 weeks with broken bone in hand

This is indeed good news. Only Pavel would apologize for being cheapshotted and breaking his hand. -
I'll be happy at averaging a point per game. It would have been better if this happened when we had the easiest schedule, now that we have the hardest schedule this hurts even more.

Two months too late.

The stars. League-wide. Eaves without a point last night, trade him

As long as the bone is healed and he wears wrist guards, he should be fine. -
Option 1: Hudler isn't strong enough at center. Option 2: Makes sense.

We're going to need a 13th forward now. Thread re-opened.

Wings are 1-0 in their past 1 game(s).

Why? You do it in 20s, it's simple.

One of Filppula (Illari or Valtteri), Franzen, Bertuzzi, or Hudler.

That's an understatement He'll have two months of hockey to get ready for the playoffs. -
Exactly. And I also think Holmstrom might retire and I'm 95% sure Hudler is gone. Yes, yes I have been. In person and online. Don't confuse flash with dominance. Plus, I don't think I ever said dominate. You don't have to dominate to be the best player or a successful. Zetterberg doesn't really dominate, he's often invisible and then, BAM, he scores.

We have 13 forwards now. Possibly losing 5. Calling up at least 2. So you think Holland and Babcock will sign 3 UFAs to get to the 13? i think two at most, with iFlip making up the 13th forward/rotating. Plus, we can't do more than 1 year deals for guys seeing how we have some big pay raises coming up after next season.
-
I see him on the team next year with our departures if we re-sign him. We have 2 RFAs next year that WILL be on the team (Mursak/Emmerton). Tatar won't be because he still has options available. Will the possibilities of Draper, Modano, Holmstrom, Miller, Hudler all either being let go or retiring or being traded, who else would you call up? iFlip of course! Jordan Owens may get a look as well. He's a lot higher on the depth chart than you may realize, too. This year he's been the best, most consistent, Griffin. Last year he was the best player in the SML. He's pretty high on the depth chart. What's more impressive, a guy with a PPG of 1.0 for 80 games, or a guy with a PPG of 1 during 40 games? The guy who did it longer. I know this is an extreme case, but it had to be done to get this point across: iFlip has been the best offensive player on the Griffins. I don't think he'll be as good as his brother. He's not nearly quick enough, but iFlip has better vision, a better shot, and a better pass. He'd be an admirable call-up.
