Smith should play with Kronwall, they have nearly identical games, except Smith will throw down.

Cleary has zero offensive abilities. Good vision and hustle to get in proper position to create a scoring chance, but he needs some semblance of a shot.

We only allowed 5 shots in the first with three 6-8 type defenseman.

I thought it was a good period. We controlled play at even strength and showed some heart on the power play. Or PK sucks and the refs are dictating play, but I thought we looked good.

Offensively, Smith is damn reliable and ready. He nearly got caught there, but good hustle getting back. I guess I missed it, but why is Quincey out?

Not with so many key players out, he needs to ease into the lineup. Terrible goal to give up. JMac needs to keep that out and Stuart and Kronwall need to help him out as well.

One of the youngest D Corps in recent memory. Kindl looking awesome, he must have the weight of the world off his shoulders knowing he's got the 6th/7th spot to himself. Looking forward to Smith's continuing learning.
