Better. Fraser, although still sucking at his lines, has been putting skill player with Tatar. He'll have to be. He is out of options and he needs to be re-signed as he will be a RFA at seasons end. I fully expect him to replace Miller next season, or Eaves because one of them will not be back.

No, i agree, he needs playing time, but his reason for not playing isn't because he has been injured. From the verbiage, it doesn't sound like the Wings are able to do this, but I'm glad they can apparently!

Yah, Guerin's friends talked him into standing next to a restaurants' sign, that was located in downtown Pittsburgh during the stanley cup finals: Apparently this BBQ place has awesome/clever sayings on it all the time and it's a staple of the city. i don't get all the Guerin hate, maybe it's due to the fact he played for the Penguins and everyone is still so butthurt over that lose. He was a good player and a pretty good goal scorer. Not HHOF worthy, but should be recognized as a good player. Plus, he represented the US of A quite well in international tournies.

So to me the CBA reads that a player on LTIR can always be sent on a conditioning loan as long as the LTIR was ok'd by the league. But the league can investigate if they deem a team is trying to find loopholes, and to me, it seems the Wings are since Kindl isn't hurt, isn't playing and would be lost on waivers. Unless I am missing something?

Which is good, I'm guessing a fair amount of people use LGW as their source of information. I know before I joined I checked this site for years frequently for trade rumors and Red Wing news and NHL news. Then it was only a year or two ago that I discovered hfboards. No, we had depth. Plus, i knew as soon as we started getting guys back, we'd be fine. And we were. Can you guys say the same, that as soon as you get guys back, you'll be fine? i don't think so, you just don't have the depth to make a late run.

There's zero chance that our fourth line next year will have two guys who each make more than 1 mil each. We have guys in the farm that could do a decent job on the fourth line, and would be cheaper. maybe Eaves will be the 1mil or higher guy because he is dynamic on the PK, but there is no way there are two guys. Wings will sign only one of those guys anyways since we have Mursak who will be on the club next year and can easily take over for Miller, while doing a better job, plus Emmerton could fill in for Eaves if he asks for more than 1 mil a season.
