Big E's problem was not getting it deep, but he's not the sole reason they scored, we had numbers back once the puck ended up behind our net. They scored because the Sedins are really good and are our version of Datsyuk and Zata.

Crosby had no problem taking him down in the corner, i don't know where you get this idea that he does this only near refs and th bench. The blind Crosby hate in this thread astounds me. What are you talking about? I never once said anything remotely to that. I never said anything about not wanting to injure anybody, I just didnt want to be that douchebag that hits guys in the head when i can crush them on the chest instead and delivery and equally painful and devastating check. You're a hockey player, you back always gunna be F'd up. Bending over to make a hit won't sacrifice your spine if you make the proper adjustments while delivering the hit. It's like lifting up boxes, you can bend over the proper way to lift the box, or you can do it the lazy way and hurt yourself.

A chip might sound easy, but you'd need quite a bit of technology in it to rim both sides of the puck close enough to the edges while. but safe enough away from being damaged by shots or it being stepped on. Plus, the costs would be astronomical seeing how they go through a dozen or two a game, have a bunch more readily available and also taking into consideration all the NHL games being played. it'd be expensive. Just install a few cameras in the net, and built into both posts at the base. that wouldn't cost a lot and it could be done over night easily.
