If I was working at a place for five years and another firm offers me twice as much as I am making now AND offers me a clause in my contract that says I can go back to my old firm if I didn't like this new one...hell yah I'd take them up on that! We don't really need Hudler, but I'd take him back as a PP specialist and a 2nd/3rd line sniper no problem as long as we shed some dead weight/salaries ala Maltby/Draper/Lebeech/Willfails. We NEED Holmstrom to stay on another year, that much is for sure as we have learned this year, he is VITAL.

I was never wrong about him. I know a few Fil-happies here always had faith. And to the schmuck that said at least he produces in the postseason...he had one of the highest points per game on this team during the regular season.

San Jose is like Washington. They are built for the regular season. Teams like Detroit, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Nashville, Ducks are built for the postseason if they make it. Marleau would be the guy I'd figure would be out.

I'd like to get a topic going of anyone throwing parties for the Wing's playoff games. If you are in the Mount Pleasant, Midland, Saginaw, Clare, East Lansing and generally any place within an hour of Central Michigan, PM me because we always get a bunch of people over and watch the game. I encourage other people located in heavy Wing population places to do the same!!!

Thus far, yes. We outworked them 5v5, so I'm not worried. They had spurts where we couldn't do anything against them 5v5, but we controlled a lot of the play and even when they had it in our zone they didn't have scoring chances.
