In all actuality, that SO went way longer than it should have. Pretty sure everyone and their mothers were able to see Rinne and his giant 5-hole he had the entire SO....well everyone but the players, minus Kronwall.

Just going to get this out of the way. More or less, if a player in the CHL still has junior eligibility they cannot play in the AHL.

I couldn't ask for more. He'd easily stay for around 1mil. Keep him and get rid of Lebeech and we'll be set on D next year with Kindl being the 6/7th D-Man

Honestly, if/when he wins the Hobey, there really is no reason for him to stay in college other than to advance his education. The only way you improve is by playing with and against better players. Imagine him and tatar on the same line next year or this year.

Agreed 100%. I'd rather him riding the bench and spot picking instead of wasting his spot on someone in the AHL who is benefiting more with 1st line minutes. -
I'm just hoping that Cleary isn't put back on that line, he's terrible on a scoring line with Zetterberg.

Total minutes played trumps ATOI in this situation. You could play 5 games and average 20 minutes while being a negative 10 or play 10 games at 15 minutes and be a negative 5. Which is more impressive? The guy with a ATOI 20 or the guy with a ATOI of 15 all things being equal?

That's a flat out lie. Lebda - 933 minutes on ice Ericsson - 881 minutes on ice Lebda has played more minutes with same people injured.

Because he's better than Ericsson, which sucks to say. They have about the same amount of points but Lebda is a -2 while Jonathan Ericsson is a -17....
