Most unlikely Detroit Red Wings prospect to go big?
Konnan511 replied to Off the Post's topic in General
Most unlikely does not mean most likely... I'm guessing the most unlikely to make it big is Adam Almqvist. He's a tiny tiny tiny D-Man that tore up the junior Swedish league and has done an alright job in the Swedish league this year. He seems most likely to be a Rafalski, but he is a longgggg way away from being polished. -

Gimme dat fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a sign!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you're asking, but I do not know why it is the way it is.

Kronwall needs to take lessons on how to play the body in the defensive zone instead of swipping at the puck. On a good note, we have a couple lines tonight actually looking good!
-
13 minutes apart huh? I agree, Datsyuk will get the GWG!

Easier to complain.

Red Wings: Holmstrom Filppula Lidstrom Sabres: Connolly Nope, it's a Hockeytown gameday challenge where you, Hockeytown, make a challenge for all us

A fun idea for a game for the last few games of season
Konnan511 replied to shaeb30's topic in General
You should add a point for hits and blocked shots, that way not everything is based on offense, or else evryone will continue to pick Zata, Datsyuk, Franzen, Homer, Lids and so forth. -
This is hockey and not soccer. Yep, about sums it up.

Gustav Nyquist-- Hockey's Future Prospect of the Month

If he wins the HB, i see no need for him to play college next year. Unless his team has a significant chance of winning the 'Ship next year, i don't see a reason for him to stay, once you win everything you can at a certain level, it's time for a new and improved challenge. -

once he gets to around 200lbs I'll be happy with this kid. Drake, I'm sure you and I will be debating him and Smith for the next few years, eh haha. -
Clearly Lidstrom. i think Datsyuk will have a very decent chance with the Stanley cups and major awards he has won. Zetterberg won't stay healthy enough to put up the number to get in and either will Kronwall. Lebda might be able to, though.

I just did it because I didn't know you could do that and it seems to get to you lol

I like it, would prefer it to be centered or right aligned, but that's meaningless.
-
Well based purely on the OP, I said Yes to both. I think it's safe to say a few of those guesstimated numbers won't match up. I think it's funny that 50%+ wouldn't like that roster, but 50%+ think that the roster provided would be top 5 in the league.

I'm all for it. It seems some people think that the puck wouldn't be allowed to exit the offensive zone. You can dump the puck w/o icing, I see it done at least once or twice a game at least.

I don't see a whole lot of love for Filppula on this board at all. When everyone says trade him and there are threads made everday about him questioning him and his abilities, I don't call that love.

I'd have to disagree. I thought we had some very good chances, the Flames did hit the post but that was really the only time I got nervous. We had the puck in their zone the majority of the time I feel, but regardless, the Wings seem to be relying on the Datsyuk line only to produces while the other 3 are there just to take space.
