He's only taken 3 minors in 15 games....Only 26 SOG in 15 games. Sounds like a young Datsyuk /sarcasm Kid has a great skill set, doesn't take many penalties and is a sniper (5 goals on 26 sog). Once he starts shooting more this kid is going to be something very special is he isn't already!!!

I'm not going to disagree with you on any of this GS&T. All players have different means of releasing frustration, whether it be a yell or breaking their sticks against whatever is closest. The only thing that really set me off was the fact, if you're going to do something childish, at least don't hurt anyone else in the process. It's like in baseball, if a player misses a pitch and pops it up then slams his bat on the ground, no one will care, but if the ump or catcher or even a man in the on-deck circle catch that bat because of carelessness, then there will be an uproar because of that carelessness.

Butthurt much? Bertuzzi has been fine all season, he came in to play between the 2nd and 3rd lines and he has done just that, effectively.

Can't really eat crow on this. He gave us ZERO hopes of him being a future NHL starter except for his rookie season in the AHL, other than that he has been terrible. I'm glad he is finally producing and I hope for many successful playoff runs with him.

I think it's funny when they chant Detroit Sucks. It's a rivalry, it happens. No need to get butthurt over this. Plus, The Wings had a nice "Crosby Sucks" chant nearly every home game against the Pens in the finals last season. Don't be so sensitive people!

I thought it was subtle and funny. Good on Perry for not wailing on him while Big Rig was trying to remove his helmet.

Errr....you just helped make my point. My premise was, there is no reason why we should not try and emulate some of the things the NFL does. You countered with they know how to market better. Well....I'd say marketing better would be something the NHL could try and emulate from the NFL. Work on the straw man.

The National Football League - $6.3 Billion > National Hockey League - $2.56 Billion. I'd say that's a pretty damn good reason to try and emulate some things of the NFL no matter how you feel about it. Unless you're against the NHL grossing more money then I see no reason why not to try and emulate some things. Agreed with the first part, not so much the second part with how many injuries we've seen from careless players taking advantage of the rules to their benefit.

Eaves is paid league minimum, and the players with the lowest cap hit are usually the guys who are swapped out periodically to see what other guys can do. I understand how dominate this line has been...defensively and controlling the play, but which player would you take out to replace with Tardiff that is already in the line-up? Leino again maybe, but his confidence is already at an all-time low and from a management point of view this guy is counted on to pick up the offensive slack in the very near future. Maltby maybe, but he has been a surprisingly good player this season. Draper? Naw, he's got the speed, defense and FO ability we need late in games. Helm? No, same deal as Draper. I guess the only other real option is Abby, but it seems Babcock really wants him in there. Tuzzi', no. Cleary, no. Hank, no. Dats, no. Homer, no. JWill, no. So who would you replace Tardiff with to get him into the line-up for a game or two?

I wouldn't say it was a thorough beatdown, he did win it at the end, though. He had a nice goal too. I wouldn't mind him in there over Eaves or May.

Anyone know why Williams is on the fourth line. The couple games I've gone to he has done superb.
