The last I heard he is going to go back to the OHL, but the Wings' brass wanted him to see how hard their players train during the season so he can see what he needs to do and get their work ethic.

That's the word on the street, though. It may even rise as high as 59.5-60Mil if the New Yorks, the Detroits, basically any of the original six teams and big market teams have a good playoffs run. The league is seeing another year of record breaking attendence numbers, so as it seems now, the cap has all the implications of going up with the increased revenue.

If we didn't score a single goal or averaged 1 goal a game and 4-5 goals a game against over the first five games I might have started to worry, but I think I'm also one of the people at LGW that has no idea where the panic button is at all haha

I'm one of the anti-goon crowd (I like grit, not goonery) and I was heavily against the signing of May because he is/was a dirty dirty player, and just going off that I didn't want him, BUT, he has impressed me more in the handful of games I've seen him in than Downey ever did. So as it stands, this has been a better signing THUS FAR, than the Eaves signing to me at least. May =

It was the fact he kept getting injured, had/has a bad back and didn't play well enough during the preseason to get ahead of Lebda/Meech/Lilja/Chelios when Holland/Babcock and Co. were looking for someone to step up. The only person to do so was Big Rig but since we were 300K over the cap he was sent down and since Quincey played like complete crap during the preseason he was waived.

I am not a fan of Flip and Cleary being on the same line, Cleary is brutal at finishing when he is set-up by Filppula. Move J-Will up and Cleary down a line. And good for May for impressing enough to stay in the line-up, any chances he has a different number

Because he'll put up 20 goals for yah, possibly 25-30 with Datsyuk, and once Franzen comes back he can shuffle between 2nd and 3rd lines.

Forsberg - Forsberg has said Detroit isn't an option for him on numerous occasions. Sundin - Sundin turned down a trade to Detriot a few years ago. I'm telling yah, Alex Tangauy is a real viable trade option.
