I don't make it sound that way at all. Filppula is not going anywhere, I'm sorry you hate soft Euros, but he is the future core of this team and he is not going anywhere. If we could convince Stuart to wave his NTC, let's do it. We can also land some good players with fat contracts that won't take a whole lot to get i.e. mid tier prospects and/or high draft picks. So I'm not too sure why a roster player even needs to be moved unless it's Emmerton/Commie continually being waived.

Players on the Wings who are untouchable and shouldn't be moved: - Zata, Datsyuk, Lidstrom, Kronwall, Filppula, Franzen, Helm. Players not on that last that do NOT have a NTC/NMC: - Hudler + the bottom six of forwards. Ian White, Commie, Kindl. Players who won't be traded because of offseason deals: White. Commie. Players who won't be traded due to Lidstrom's final season: Kindl So we have Hudler or anyone not named Helm on the bottom six that can be traded. Miller, Eaves, COnner, Emmerton have zero trade value. Maybe we could get a super crappy player for Abby? Hudler is the only viable option. He's having a great year and is to become a UFA. So what do you propose? If it's anything that proposes a non top six player to be brought in, then we are SOL.
