I just died a little inside...

I like you GMR, you make me laugh

Could have been a charge on Downey haha, but good to see a nice fight, i thought Cam was going to get worked over but he impressed me on that one.
-
I guess the only positive I can see coming from this is if Hossa is back by the start of the playoffs and is put on LTIR and we can add a huge piece to the puzzle of the repeat?
-
I'm not that mad at Pollack for the outcome because you see hits like that all the time in games, it just sucks Hossa was off balance and you could tell Pollack felt like crap after that play. Here's hoping for just a neck strain and nothing more serious.
-
Stuart needs to clear that turd from the net to begin with. I'm shocked the refs actually called a dive there. s***TTTTT Hossa down!!!!!
-
Well Big Rig has been playing very nice. He looks very calm and composed out there. Some very nice passes as well and doesn't seem out of place except for when he was battling for that puck haha
-
I hate how Ozzie overplays the puck...

You should get that checked out, you need those to fight off diseases.

FYI, those crosschecks happened AFTER the whistle and the game was over, that is not everyday crosschecks. You can't defend Ott by saying Moen shouldn't have lit his lamp because Ott has a broken hand. We all know the saying "you never hit a kid with glasses", but if that kid in glasses is taking a thick stick and slamming it in an unprotected lower back, he better make sure that none of the kid's friends are watching, because glasses or not, he is getting a beat down.

The good ole' obligatory LA King trade dealine red wing try-out.
-
No. Not when we've been making our killing off having a solid starting goaltender who gets paid cheap so we can afford 4 very good offensive lines and three very good defensive pairings. Not too mention he has a Hasek like groin which isn't the best thing for a franchise goalie you are pouring money into during a cap world. Think about it, we pour some heavy money into this guy, say bye-bye to both Franzen and Hossa and forward depth for next year. Not too mention the over-paying we'd do to even trade for him.
-
Doesn't make sense to trade for him, we'd have to move roster places for him and probably picks and he also probably wouldn't re-sign with us if we plan to keep Hossa or Franzen.
-
Kind of shows that Marty is a tad overrated and that their system defines their goaltender.
-
So I guess the rumors about Kovy coming to the Wings is true....
-
Yes he does. He wants to call someone out for fighting with a visor on, he has all the rights to.
-
Just for Ks n' Gs I'm going to throw Kindl into the mix as he should become a Mike Green type player and he could put up some great numbers QB'n some legit PPs.
-
Kopitar I think will have a very good chance with the way his team is shaping up, but I do think it's too early for Doughty though to be honest. Malkin should be added to the list. Mike Green as well. I don't know about Kane or Toews as well. They might end up in the hall of very good.

Not everyone had role models like Stevie Y and Lidstrom to teach them how to be professional like our guys. OV wants to show emotion let him, if it turns into taunting our showing up other players than it would start to annoy.

Glad we get all our injuries out of the way before the playoffs.

Good work Doggy I think Helm has a point this season. I like Leino more because like you said, no matter who leino is playing with, he still produces. Leino is very good with the stick lift as well, he is very underrated defensively. Helm isn't that much better at defense than Leino but Leino is wayyy better offensively then Helm. I still want Helm to replace Maltby or Kopecky, preferebly Kopecky come playoffs because he is a big upgrade over those two and I think Leino should go in for the other and be put on the second PP line because he and Hudler seem to work well together in my eyes.
-
I agree with both of these oddly enough. Helm's grit will win over Leino's skills with Babcock, but Leino will be counted on once Draper or Maltby start to show how bad they are, most likely Maltby since Babs will like Draper's FO abilities in the late stages of a close game in the Playoffs. Doggy it'd be a good idea to include why you think the way you do haha.
