It was poor goaltending for both goals. No need to slide all the way to the goaline on that second one. Hopefully the coaches tell Ozzie to stay on his feet and tell the defense to play the body on Getzlaf. We didn't play too bad. This second period should be ours and come to the third we should have the momentum.

This wasn't that bad at all. Zach and Pronger would have run into each because Parise was heading right into him with his head turned. It only looks dirty because Pronger pushes him with his elbow after he hit him. Not suspension worthy in the least bit, not really that dirty since they were going to run into each other. Pronger Physics just made it look worse than it was, if it was that bad Zach and the whole Devil's bench would have at least showed some emotion after that hit.

Hossa is one and done with this team. It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. We had space, we signed him. We're using the space from his contract when he leaves to re-sign multiple people. The end, these threads need to stop.

I'd take Ryan over Mule. The cap is coming down so you're going to see more nervous GMs and money is going to be tight and over the next few years wehn the cap continues to go down you're going to see a lot less "crazy" offers for players and see much lower contracts.

I would say Brodeur lead those teams to the Stanley Cups with his sub 1.70 GAA in those three playoffs. Stevens had only like 11 points and wasn't even double digits in PIMS when he won the Conn Smyth, personally I would have given it to Brodeur. Stevens won it primarily on his leadership ability on and off the ice, not by his play, even though he destroyed Lindros in that playoff haha. True he was a key leader in that playoff, but he did not lead them to the Stanley cup, he motivated them to it. Chelios has had a far better career. Chelios got under everyone's skin and abcked up his mouth and play with his hockey.

He's still an active player in the league lol. Management just isn't playing him. Just because he is suspended by his own team doesn't mean he isn't a player anymore. It's just like like Stephon Marbury(sp) thing with the Knicks, if management wanted him to play they could let him play because he is still a player, same goes for Sean. If Sean was voted in to the AS game I don't see how the NHL could stop him by playing if he played by the rules and was voted in, but that said, just like the MTL thing, they (NHL) could probably rig the voting and say there was mass automated voting going on and keep him out of it!

Ehhh, that's debatable, the NL as a whole sucks haha. Very large gap between NL and AL teams, hence the ridiculous winning percentages the AL has ever time during the season during interleague play.

Why does everyone think that the players train hard for the AS Game? Saying I'm glad so and so aren't in it so they can rest, it's not like they are going to be giving any effort on the ice, this game is just a glorified shinny game much like the NBA As game.

I recently just talked to the lad about the WJC, and what he has been doing to prepare for it and this is how he replied: "i have been doing alot of runnin and some lifting. its been goin really good here at the camp and i have been playing well. i hope its all good haha" This kid is the complete package, I feel really great that he is going to be our future goalie. Humble and works his @ss off. Also, he let me in on a little secret (I think), he said he chose the route of the CHL is because not a single college offered him a scholarship.

English and Russian are very different forms of language. The reason Swedish players have such ease with English is because they are both tier one languages. Russian is a tier three language and is very very difficult language to learn. It's not hard to understand the least bit that most of the guys in the non rich parts of Russia don't learn English until they are required to move to the states. I challenge any of you to learn Russian and see how far you come in 8 years I've been learning it for two years, it is a very difficult language to learn and I would like to think I am pretty intellectual (toot toot) OP: Please please someone upload this video!!!

It's actually easier than you think if you want to get a job with them. I interned there two years ago. Step one, go to college. Step two, Don't be an idiot. Step three, have a major or minor in Sales/Marketing preferably majors. Step four, sign up for an internship through their website or contact them and convince them why they need to make a position for you. Step five, once your internship is over and you did a great job, they should offer you a job with them or convince the Griffin's Management to hire you or they WILL send out recommendations to other organizations in need of your help.

My exact sentiments. He gets like something around 3 seconds on the PP. PLay 3rd line minutes sin't going to allow you to put up points when you get no PP time as well. Next year when Hossa is gone he'll be getting 2nd line minutes and second unit PP time and will put up at least 50 points.

Fixed...I think

Ericsson is more of an offensive threat. He is a converted forward with a 100+ MPH shot and is very very fast. I'm am very glad Kindl is finally coming into his own, but he still needs to work a lot harder on being defensively responsible, we can say +/- is a team stat but when ytour defensive partner(s) have higher +/-s it stills shows you are the Defender being beaten more often than not. Kindl stills needs probably one more season after this one in the minors and he should be the top 4 D-Man we all envisioned while maybe sometime down the road this year if someone off the 23 man roster gets dealt or waived near the trade deadline we could see the Big Rig up being a bottom pair D-Man.
