He's done a very good job, but let's not forget those goals have come because he plays on a line with two damn good players. You could stick Miller on that line he'd put up a hell of a lot of points. But as I did say, 8 goals through a little less than a third of the season is still a darn good feat and props to him for sticking it out and not being a whiny ***** about everything Stars have 4 players with 6 or more goals, while the Wings have 6 players with 6 or more goals. I think the Wings are doing just fine. Hell, give the Wings two more games to have played as many games as the Stars and they might be up to 8 players with 6 or more goals. Both teams, i'm guessing, are both happy with who they have.

I dealt with Pavel for a week straight at my job over the summer and spoke to him in both Russian and English; his English is fine and not as bad as people around here make it out to be. Datsyuk never takes a shift off and never seems to have a down game. And Datsyuk too soft spoken to be a captain? Really? We've had two of the most soft spoken captains in history right in a row. How in the world would you even know if Datsyuk was quiet in the locker room? I've been a big fan of Datsyuk being the next captain for 3+ years and my "want" of him to be the next captain grows more and more everyday.

The cross checks were a hell of a lot more violent than that bump to the face. If he did that to a Wing I'd call him a *****, but you see the s***s of the world in the NHL do this every single game to Holmstrom and we (LGW) never make threads about it. The "Head shot" was only technically a headshot because HWSNBM gave a pop shot to the face of the other player. Face-washes do more damage than a push of the face with a forearm.

My favorite thread of all-time is the second to last game of the season last season where GMR and 99% of LGW stated how much they hated the team and hoped they would get swept in the playoffs. Then the next game we won big and everyone was back on board. Until the buzzer sounds, i firmly believe we can win every game.

We played the perfect ROAD game against a team that was on a TEN game win streak. We didn't get physically outmatched. We got out shot, but we always seem to out shoot most teams and we've lost a handful of times while outshooting these teams. Outshooting a team doesn't mean you dominated that team. GREAT WIN RED WINGS!!!!!!
