Pylon, 2 minutes for face pwnage

No matter how many times LGW and Babcock knock Hudler down, all he does is produce. Go Happy!!!! side note: Flip should be on the Hossa line!!!! Not Mr. Pylon...

We have the Mickey Redmond/Ken Daniels drinking game at my place during games. Everytime Mickey rips on the refs and Kenny follows with "Now Mickey", that is a shot. Everytime neither of the two see a penalty that has been called, even after a replay is shown in super slow-mo, it's a shot. Everytime Mickey giggles from Datsyuk's stickhandling, it's a shot. And final shot is whenever Kenny mentions Mickey's 50 goals seasons for the Wings or whenever he mentions Larry's HHOF induction.

Turd...

This is probably just like a Downey case, get him cleared of waivers that way the Wings have the option to send him down if they need to on short notice.

Every Wings player is minus except the top line and top 4 d-men

Yah...you might want to do the numbers first... You also did not take into consideration pay raises for Zata and The Franz. -

Although +/- is a very good indicator on how well you are playing, it can also be misleading. Say you give up 2 even-strength goals and 10 of your players are minus one and the rest are even, but you get 3 or 4 PP goals during the game. You still win handily even though not a single player is a plus and the majority are minus. -
Let's see: - Pat Kane - Jack Johnson - Mike Green - Brad Richards - Sergei Fedorov

Ehh it's an internet forum composed of 13 year olds and 60 years olds and everyone in between. You're going to see many emotionally immature teenagers posting on here and you're going to see a few old people on here not know what's going on. The only times I ever get weary is when someone says something completely and totally ridiculous. If they question someones' skill I don't mind, if they saw someone isn't giving full effort let them. All it takes is for someone to post something out of idiocy and have at least one person agree with them, after that they are stuck being idiots because someone agreed with them. If people want to say Cleary doesn't have the offensive skills to match his paycheck let them. If they want to say Filppula is expendable, let them. Hell, if they want to say bench Lidstrom until he gets his "act" together let them. If everyone had the same temperaments, talents, and convictions, this place would be boring as hell.

Personally, I think this will be an easy win for the Wings. Wing: 4 (Hossa, Homer, Flip, Lids) Pens: 1 (Geno)

It's the new NHL. Even Hudler is a power forward.

Don't forget Adam Oates as well

With Sammy and Huds gone, that doesn't make up enough money for a pay increase to Zata and Franzen. We'd also need Lebs and Chelios off the book along with D-Mac. Plus a couple more players. If we had to do away with Huds, Sammy, lebs, Cheli plus either waive Cleary or trade Lilja, I would be in favor of it.

No worries, but what might happen that could lower his cap hit is give him something like 12 mil the first year, 10 mil the second, 7 mil the third, 5 mil for the 4th, 4 mil for the 5th, 4 mil for the 6th, 3 mil for the 7th. Front load the crap out of it because who is going to turn down a contract that over the first 2 years gives you 22 mil. This would give a cap hit of 6.42 which would help for the future and it would also be money in the bank for Zata.

All I know is if I went out with Flip or Helm, the amount of women we pull in would put my night tonight to shame! Hell even Big Rig would be awesome to out to the bar with and pick up some bar sluts.

I liked Danny last year and the year before when he was producing and never had a problem with him, but you can only use the vision problems and his injury last year as excuses to why he is playing so poorly. I'd argue it takes more vision to play excellent defense as a forward like he has been doing all season. Filppula is starting off very slow as well, but not only is he playing very good defense, he is also setting up players that most players wouldn't be able to do, he'd have more points if Cleary would be able to finish. I think if Cleary wasn't making so much money and for how long and with a NTC, this wouldn't be a big deal since he is playing sexy defense for a forward.

Has Sundin lowered his price and are the Wings a possibility?
Konnan511 replied to DRWExaminer's topic in General
This is news to me. Since 1995 he has never scored below 70 points while putting up almost 80 pts last season. I'd take him for a reasonable price as long as we don't have to waive the future of our team or the present success of our team. If Cleary and Lebs can be sacrificed for Sundin I'd do it. -

Lidstrom will make it whether his performance drops or not. The Euro Acquaintances will make it and Hossa will make it. I wouldn't be surprised seeing Homer being voted in if he continues the was he has been playing.

I would love to see that!

Ok? What does that have to do with him now? Here's Chelios for you:
-
I have to tend to agree with you. i think Ott is the biggest D-Bag in all of hockey, but I didn't see him do anything wrong. On that Turco? penatly, i saw him get checked well after the whistle. And that Avery hit at the end was to the side of Lucic and Savard started pummeling Avery when he was down on his knees, that's a ***** move.

Time for Flip to shine. I'm glad to see Lebda out of there. Lilja was allowed a poor 2 games since he has been one of the best D-Men out there. I agree that a fourth line of Draper and Helm along with either Mac or Downey would be nice.
