I don't really pay attention to other jerseys of other teams, but some of the newer teams tend to use less "flair" than their normal jerseys during the season due to cutting costs.

I don't think that is true one bit. The emotional uplift he brought to the team was immeasurable. He brought an emotional uplift to his best friends in Malts, Drapes, and Ozzie. Would we have won the cup w/o him? Maybe. But he did have a goal and assist to help the team. I am absolutely disgusted by you, hoping that D-Mac never wears a Winged Wheel again. Do you also wish the same with Chelios? What about Lids in a couple years? Better for who? You? Not better for the Red Wings, we need teams to challenge us during the season so we stay sharp. It's like if Team Canada played all the national teams from South America, then had to play Sweden. Nothing good would come form that lol. that is why it was a blessing that we had so much trouble in our division last year, because it prepared us for the playoffs. Years past, our division sucked. The team that challenged us the most in the playoffs was the team from our own division.

I guess you could connect a ticket reader to every seat, something that would cost maybe $1 to MFG. Then attach a sensor to the bottom of the seat that costs maybe 10 cents to MFG. Have that connected to a computer that shows when Ticket readers and weight in seats match up, the ones that don't or haven't for the first period and a half will show up as empty, then you can resell those tickets.

The person who adds the most to the team at the beginning of the NHL season should get that final spot, even if that means an unproven NHL rookie gets it or an experienced vet or a Griffin with loads of potential.
