I was never huge on Kronners when he first entered the league and I didn't buy into the whole "injury prone" mumbojumbo, it was more like he was gifted at being in awkward positions and unlucky situations. I needed to see more from him even this year aside from the energizing hits, and what really opened my eyes was his passing ability and his ability to make plays on an offensive standpoint.

You do if you want to have the leagues best defence. Defence wins championships. Look at how great teams do with awesome offense and average Defence. They may get to the odd Stanley Cup, but 8 out of 10 times the better defensive team wins out. If KH can keep all the pieces together, then obviously I will be ecstatic, but I am a realist.

Did he have a really good playoff run, maybe not, but he sure as hell did his job to perfection. Scored some amazing goals and timely goals, played brilliant defense and didn't commit any stupid penalties, I think off the top of my head he had one, maybe two penalties all of playoffs. I think he did a very satisfactory job. For that package..maybe Russian Twins, or possibly a Swedish model. Depends on who you ask....in all honesty I have no idea. L+S for a 2nd and 4th maybeeeee, maybe just a 3rd for a 2nd/3rd line player who plays excellent defense on about half the teams and a depth D-Man, maybe a top 4 on about 5 teams.
