I think we are all a little relieved it was just a typo! As for Flip, you gotta give him some credit, 5pts in 10 games (all even strength points) while being 7th in +/- and having no PIM, not to mention he has been playing with a nagging groin injury.

Wow, that is exactly what I was going to say! We played very poorly against Nashville and if we played like we did against the Avs, we would have swept them as well. Our talent alone is the thing that beat the Preds along with the resiliency of our goaltending. I also think that the Avs final game was a bit of a lack of effort on the Avs part, there should be no way one team gets 4, 2 on 1, goals, that's just lack of effort. These "experts" always pick the sexy team...there is nothing sexy about Homer or a mule :-p

Greenberg is awesome, he loves hockey and I think he was a beat reporter for the Flyers way back when. On this show Mike and Mike were talking about how awesome the Dallas/SJ game was last night, but they also commented that the American public could care less about it and they said it's a shame. The lead in to your comment was Greeny talking about how the NHL needs to market superstars and the elite teams while Golic said the NHL needs to hardcore market a face of the NHL, which he mentioned is Crosby to the American public. Which lead to his statement that the BEST thing for the NHL is to have a Penguins and Red Wing finals to showcase the face of the game and the elite team. It was actually a very good conversation and I recommend if you watch any show on ESPN it be Mike and Mike because Greeny adores hockey and the game and Golic just loves all and any sports, except Nascar haha

I think the best part about the hit, Morrow didn't even go to the boards intending on checking anyone and at about 4-5 feet he sees Mich with his head down and coming towards him and it seems more like a self defense check that turned out to be a monster hit!

Why worry about that little *****? Did you see all the give-a-ways he had in the OTs? I say bring him on and Pavs and Hank will bury those shots like the Sharks should have =)
