Overrated? Who rates them highly? Nobody outside of Michigan picks them to win the Stanley Cup. I would like to say though I have a lot more respect for the Black Hawk head coach for what he did with the last minute of the game. He could have tried to run the score up more and probably would have scored again but he just told his guys to keep cycling in their own zone...very classy

I for one am glad you bring this up, I remember last year in an interview Holland an Illitch talked in great detail that they LIKE to and WANT to keep their nucleus of players around for as long as they can because THEY believe that chemistry trumps many aspects of hockey. It's the reason why they've kept as many players as they could for long periods of time i.e. Lids, Cheli, Malts, Homer, Drape, Ozzie and even thes relatively new group of Lillypad, Dats, Zata, Cleary(now) and probably even Sammy along with Flip. As Wing's fans we expect the best but even I had had to get over the fact that players like Lilja and Sammy are staying on this team, because of chemistry.

I completely agree with you R4L, it's not like this award is the "who is the biggest p*ssy" award. It's the award for the player who plays smart hockey, doesn't take stupid penalties that cost team's wins, and who can also play a very good offense game, and who doesn't fight for the sake of just fighting. But to the OP, let's hope Stuart is back for at least a game before the playoffs start. Does anyone know where he broke his finger, is it toward the tip or towards the base of the hand? The tip you can play with while broken, but if it is close to his palm part of the hand then he won't be able to play til' probably the playoffs =(

My favorite thing is to print screen someones background with all thier folders on the desktop, paste it into paint, save it as wallpaper, create a folder and hide thier desktop icons, put the print-screened wallpaper up and watch the people click on icons and the task bar and start button and just try to figure out why their mouse is working but nothing they click on works haha.

You really need to get your facts straight...every die hard fan knows what happen to Feds. He was going through a hard time with his family and asked the organization to hold off on contract talks until he resolved the situation with his family and when he came back and said he wants to play for the Wings, management ended up lowballing him to the point were he would have to accept an offer that was truly ridiculous for a player of his caliber. With that said, I don't think we should have acquired him at the deadline so don't think I have a man-crush on him haha. But for the OP, we may not be able to splash the cash on players, but there is no limit to the amount of cash we can splash on scouts!

I basically did the Filppula image, if you look at that original one, he is being checked lol, so after I edited the other guy out and added the "flames" to him I got bored and quickly did the rest, hence the old picture of Ozzie haha My original intent was just to add flames to the Red Wings text...that's it, then I was going to do a giant picture of Filppula, and that snowballed into a few of my favorite Wings...then i noticed I needed a goalie, so i added the first pic of Ozzie PS. My little brother is a goalie too, he notices all that stuff too! He just got named to the Dream Team too!

Which goes to prove why Hockey players are the best athletes in the world! I wish these stories made it out to the public, but then again that's all you'd hear in the news, about how great these hockey players are, instead of their brute and disregard for health and safety. Chris Terry, keep up the good work!

Start Clean the day before the first game of the playoffs. I didn't shave for a week a couple weeks ago and my girlfriend was all in a tizzy because of it. Naturally she flipped out when I told her about the playoff beard, so she told me we can't hop on the good foot and do the bad thing until I shave...good thing a Datsyukian deke gets me off every time...that or HUGE hit from Kronners!
