I have to agree, though. If he's holding down a line, move him down a couple lines. He's still effective out there, but he shouldn't be out there on a skill line if he's having trouble contributing to it.

Fixed it for you. Bertuzzi didn't end anyone's career. Even forgetting that Bertuzzi's punch didn't break Moore's neck and that it was the dog pile that did the damage, Moore was still offered NHL contracts after the fact. Pronger is a massive ****** and karma got him good, but for the sake of his family and well-being, I hope he does make a full recovery.

I guess all I'd look to trade for is a top 4 DMan and move Stuart to the 3rd pairing, but even then, Kindl and Ericsson have looked above average this season as a pairing and I don't think you break those two up. Maybe add a grittier 4th liner with some snarl. And again, Miller and Emmerton have both looked decent for their roles and Eaves is bound to come around. I wouldn't say Vancouver flopped. They got to game 7 in the SCF. it was unfortunate they had a choker in 7uongo in net. A team that flopped would be our Wings between their last SC and the one previous to that.

I think it's because we have so many talented forwards in our system, that we are getting gaga over all of our defensive prospects right now. Jurco is a beast, though. Him and Tvrdon both.

The only thing I disagree with is that he could be higher than Iron Hook. Iron hook is a damn complete player. But then again, if i needed to throw either Sheahan or Jarnkrok on a Red Wing line today, i'd go with Sheahan. It's like what i said last season, Sheahan and Nyquist could play right now and not be out of place.

I see Stuart's value. He's not over-paid, but he's not under-rated. I think his contract is about where his value is. I do think he has regressed slightly, but he's not a bargain by any stretch of the means. Solid, but not a bargain. Two things I like about this fight. Ericsson clearly won and when Dorsett said I'm done, Ericsson didn't take advantage of him You actually made me laugh +1. Wings won't throw in a core player for a rental player. It's not Holland works. Filppula Won't be traded. Wings Won't get a star player. For a third line scrub last trade deadline it was costing at least a first round pick. Our first round pick last season saw us land a top six forward and a 4-5 DMan this past summer. I honestly just don't see any room for anyone at the moment. Unless we packaged Emmerton and Hudler along a mid tier pick, i don't see anyone of note being traded to us. And with the way Hudler has been playing, I don't think you trade him (Unless he really picks up his game, then we could trade him for a veteran with 3-4 years of good hockey left at the deadline). But the Wings are NOT trading for anyone 27 or under that is really good or has amazing potential. This isn't a G'damn video game.
