I was really excited about all our picks, except Quine, he seemed quite redundant. XO and Sproul seem like they could be the future Kronwall and Stuart, minus the monstrous hitting.

He should have not made that hit and the guy he hit should have not been an idiot and put himself in that position. Both were at fault, so I'm not too upset with the suspension.

Agreed. That's why when people flip out about Filppula not producing points that aren't noticing how many scoring chances he is creating. Zata is setting up nice chances, but the puck isn't going in the net, which isn't bad because he is at least creating all those chances. But as you alluded to, he needs to slightly tweak his D.

You probably enjoy speeding while drunk regardless of wearing a seatbelt or not, i mean, you are a grown ass man after all. People, whether in sports or in the community, don't always know what's best for them. Sure they are grown ass men, but not every grown ass man understands risks. It's not always a bad thing to have rules and regulations. -

Eaves was terrible his first game, but has looked good recently. I still think a rotation with Miller, Eaves, Brunnstrom, Emmerton is the best thing right now for the team to keep everyone as fresh as possible.

Too bad fighting isn't allowed in the NCAA, because I think a lot more people would be excited about Sheahan since he seems like quite the scrapper, or at leats he was before ND.

This is one prospect who doesn't get enough love. He's already a defensive stalwart, and his offensive game is now starting to pick up. And as you mentioned, he's picked up quite the mean streak!
