Creepy update: Bertuzzi and Kronwall are the only two that need daily wake-up calls and Holmstrom is the first Red Wing to breakfast each morning. This morning he asked me what time it opened and I said 7am and he said, with a huge grin, "I am really excited" lol. I always pictured him to be a tank, but he's actually pretty small.

The only fanbases I hear that say we don't have any class are Pens and hawks. Everyone else knows we have class so I have no idea where that info is coming from. As for Pavel, that's future captain material stuff right there!

It's usually around 70-80% at even strength, at least for the Wings. There are a few teams that have the top 4 set in stone to where they are 90% or higher at even strength, but then you have the crappy teams who literally rotate every game.

I talked to the Ranger broadcaster and media something or other and from what I gathered, the Wild and Rangers are showing their games against the Wings, or at the least the Rangers are.

First impressions during check ins last night: Best dressed: Alan Quine. He was super decked out. Most confused about what was going on: Jurco. Lucky for him, Ferraro came and checked in with him, because Jurco had no idea what was going on lol. Impromptu group leader(s): Ferraro, Smith, Mrazek. Ferraro really helped out the new guys while Smith took over as "guide" and Mrazek was the interpreter for all the over seas guys and was a HUGE help for us. Most down to Earth: Nyquist. Those Swedish guys that rolled in with their v-neck t-shirts and skinny jeans new they were badasses, but while checkin-in Nyquist I asked him how great it was to be out of college and he was really humble about everything. Youngest looking: Aubry. The guy is uber tall, but rail thin and he'll have a baby face for the rest of his life. Nicest: Nyquist. Nothing but please and thank yous from this guy. Real model professional. Biggest turd burglar award: Curt Fraser. Guy was just a giant turd. Coolest: Nill/Holland. They are both Chatty Cathys and extremely down to Earth. Dynamic Duo: Osgood/Bedard. Man were they hilarious together. Osgood was rooming with Maltby and asked if I would cancel his reservation or stick him with the Swedish guys. Bedard kept saying he was Ozzie's younger brother. There were a lot more stories, and more creepy updates to come.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Emmerton and Johnson split games. Johnson is one of the top 3 shot blockers and face-off men in the entire league. He would be very helpful against some of the better teams in the league while Cory can play against the Oiler and Panther teams of the league.

Except, again, you'd have to be a real idiot to be scammed into killing someone. Same principle. It's like the stock market crashing and some investor saying, "Look, I have this great stock that won't fail". It'd take a real idiot to start buying stocks at that moment. I understand that Scamway is a shady organization, but business is business and if want the Wings to stay competitive, Illitch needs the unlimited funds that we all like him to have.

It's called Samway for a reason. It sucks people have been ripped off by them, but do your research. I had a "friend" that tried to get me to invest in Scamway, but the two or three brain cells I have said don't do it. It's not Scamways fault that people are idiots and lose their money. As for them being our sponsor, I have no feelings one way or another. The Wings need money to spend money and Scamway is offering a lot of money.

Johnson is a shot blocking, face-off winning machine. If Emmerton can't beat this guy, then tough luck and I won't lose any sleep over it.

Damn good deal, one of the best re-signings since the lock-out. Obviously overpaid for the first year or two, but the last 4 years are going to look like a massive steal.
