I understand how the rankings and such work, and I can see that is basically how the list is made. I would have made Ferraro probably a 7.5 D and Emmerton a 7.0 D. I know Cory was suppose to be a 2nd liner when we drafted him, but due to all the injuries, he really hasn't progressed like Mursak and Tatar have. Tvrdon probably should have made the list over Parkes. I don't know what Tvrdon is rated, but I'd probably have him around a 7.5 D. But I still contend that Jarnkrok and Pulu should be switched. In terms of potential and skills, Jarnkrok comes out on top. Pulu is the more exciting player, but Iron Hooks skating alone should put him over pull and I LOVE Pulu. Edit: Emmerton has the grade which I thought he would lol.

I work from 11pm to 8am, So I'm free during the day. Most the prospects are getting in early, and the other guys are getting in later. Holland and Hakan are getting before everyone else. Just let me know when everyone is coming in (LGW) and we should all set up a night or two where we get together and/or go out. I never get to do the meetings at Wing's games because of how far I am, this is my time to shine lol.

I know on Torch Lake it is socially acceptable to drink and drive drunk on the lake since the drinking limit is higher than the road and it is legal to drink and drive. Hell, I've never even heard of anyone getting arrested on this lake for being too drunk to drive and Torch is quite the party lake. Those cops must have had it out for him or he must be the worst boater of all time.

Good list. I'd take Ferraro out of the top 10, drop Jurco down a bit and switch XO and Sproul's rankings. And also move Mursak way up, no way I'd only have him one spot higher than Emmerton. Mursak has shown a ton of skill and potential in the A, while Emmerton hasn't.

Then don't pay him top dollar. You know what you're getting, that doesn't make him an ass, it makes the GM an idiot.

Wow... I've never seen it put like that before, but I actually agree with you. I'm still a little bitter with how Shanny left, even though I love him, but I understand why he left. I still contend that Hudler leaving was a good thing as it freed up cap space for us to fill out our roster.

If Hudler would have stayed, we would have been in cap hell. Hudler leaving was a good thing for us, it gave us cap space. Also, as you've stated earlier, other players left because they were grossly overpaid following their time with the Wings, the same thing is true for Hudler's case. I have a feeling Weber will be just fine with or with out Suter. That "source" is worst than Eklund and 0% reliable.

No, his number won't be retired. He was never "the man" for the Red Wings. If Fedorov doesn't get his number retired, no way in hell Ozzie does, and that's no offense to Ozzie, who I think is a first ballet HHOF.

Likewise, I don't see the best AHL team being able to beat the worst KHL team on European ice. Obviously we see guys go over to the KHL who either don't want to compete every day in the NHL or are let go due to a youth movement, but there are some highly skilled players in the KHL, moreso than the AHL. The AHL all-stars team wouldn't beat the KHL all-star team. But I wouldn't be surprised to see a CHL all-start team compete fairly well against a KHL all-star team.

This is a lose lose for Nashville. What if the Arb awards him like 7 or 8 mil+ for this season. His next contract on his RFA year can only go up. They really messed up by not signing him before this arbitration. Next summer will be the Weber offer sheet lottery undoubtedly.

Stern is running his sport into the ground. And just so you know, every rule passed or idea that has been implemented had to go through a committee vote. Bettman doesn't just say, 'I like the shootout, so let it be!'. No, it goes through serious discussions and gets voted on.

Where did anyone hear he came out and stated he didn't want to be in Nashville anymore? That would probably be the first time in many moons where a player stated he wanted out prior to an RFA/UFA deal.
