SCF: Boston Bruins vs. Vancouver Canucks

I'd be pissed that we lost after being the better team. Being pissed about Burrows playing is stupid. Burrows played, get over it, I bet the players didn't care...except Lappy lol.

    Thoughts on Joni Pitkanen

NHL local ratings for game 1-Nashiville tied for 7th

Well we are basing this off the Nielson and their numbers. But if if they're as bad as you say for game two, then there may be something to what you're saying.

NHL local ratings for game 1-Nashiville tied for 7th

As I've been saying for the past couple years. Expanding to Nashville was a great move by the NHL. Great fanbase and very knowledgeable fans there. The Ft. Myers one through me off. I expected Seattle would have been a lot higher since i higher NHL fans screaming that they should have an NHL team.

    Jonathan Ericsson's Value?

Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. So what was the point of that? Ericsson is infact worth a lot more than 900K. He just made 1.25 and had a "career year". It makes zero sense that he'd only 900K and not get a raise. Ericsson sucks, I have no reservations about saying that, but to say he is less than a 1mil defenseman is completely idiotic.

    This is old school hockey:

    Brad Richards

We had the second highest offense in the league and we had plenty of LTIR if we needed a formidable player. I think we were able to take in a 1.5mil player at the trade deadline due to our LTIR, plus we could have traded Hudler at the deadline to free up space for anyone we wanted so that point is moot.

    Brad Richards

Difference now, though, is that the Wings have a glaring weakness at defense and needs to fill. Back when we signed Hossa we had the best offense AND defense and a buttload of cash to spend. Now we have a buttload of cash to spend but we need defensive help in a bad bad bad way.

    Brad Richards

Except the Wings haven't expressed any interest (I know Babcock said top six forward/top 4 DMan, but EVERY coach says that. Holland says their top fine is fine) and we need to invest that "cap space" in defensemen, not an overpaid forward. So I still laugh at those articles.

SCF: Boston Bruins vs. Vancouver Canucks

I laugh at the people who are pissed because Burrows played so well when he should have been suspended. Of course he should have been suspended, but since he wasn't, ******* play good and don't worry about it. I laugh at the same people who said since Malkin wasn't suspended we lost the cup. Tough s***, Malkin played and we should have been more prepared like we were the previous two games where he played instead of coming out and sucking. Burrows played, oh well, get over. If you're letting Burrows beat you and the Sedins aren't the ones beating you, then you have some problems. They need all that fat up there due to the cold.

    Brad Richards

I love all these article that say the Wings are interested. Of course they are, the entire league is interested. Ummm: He has a Conn Smythe and a Cup.

    Changes in the offseason

So not only did Ericsson make 1.25mil this season in terms of salary, and not only did he turn down a 2mil/yr contract, but he's going to sign for only 900K?

    Changes in the offseason

So basically you are saying sign whoever you can so Kindl doesn't have a spot.

Judge rejects NHL deal with Molson-Coors:

Marketing bro, marketing. There are many levels of different types of sponsorships. From what the article said, Labatt had the exclusive rights of beer for Canada. Since Labatt paid heavily for those exclusive rights, the NHL cannot have any more Canadian beer sponsers.

    Changes in the offseason

Ah Hah! The true question is how long it would take to paddle up the river in a canoe with only one tire.

    Jonathan Ericsson's Value?

No. Holland offered him 2mil and he knows what he's doing, so clearly you're off base. Go through the NHL list of contracts and you'll see Ericsson is on par or better than a lot of guys making between 1.5 and 2.5 mil. Ericsson just got paid 1.25mil in salary this past season and had his best statistical year of his career (thanks to Rafalski). Of course he's going to get a big (in terms of percentage of his last) raise. I feel extremely dirty for half ass defending him. Please don't make me do it again.

    How Much Is Hudler Worth?

my hope is that Hudler and Eva will be traded for two happy meals.

    Changes in the offseason

Train Z clearly meets Train X in Omaha at 2:33am EST.

    Jonathan Ericsson's Value?

Big E is easily worth at least 1.5mil a year. Hell even at 2mil a season, it isn't that bad of a deal. But with that said, even if he wanted to play here for free I wouldn't take him.

    This should be their mural:

    How Much Is Hudler Worth?

Wait! You gave him tree-fiddy worth of a contract? He tricked me!!! And it's about that time that I noticed that Mr. Holland wasn't Mr. Holland at all, he was infact that God Damn Loch Ness monster! He's worth somewhere between what LGW values him and the outrageous value Eva puts on him. He's all offense and no defense or skating, and he sucked offensively this past season.

    2011 Calder Cup Finals

I have zero idea where Binghamton is.

    Atlanta Thrashers move to Winnipeg

Not really, there are strict rules and regulations that need to be followed when relocating a team. There are about 2 or 3 more spots in Canada that can legally have a team without infringing on economical and league anti-trust laws and rules.
