Ummm what? Powerplays don't effect your +\- unless the shorthanded team scores.... There are plenty of players who score 3+ points and still finish -1 in a game that ended 5-1. Good quote from Doan:

Refs are going to suck for both sides. Expect whoever is losing in the third to get PPs. I expect a 3-1 win. Datsyuk will get ran a couple times. Helm will be a beast. Abby will fight. Lidstrom will finish -1 and have a PP assist. Big E will be Big E and I expect a huge bounce back game from Howie, a clean sheet from him wouldn't surprise me.

The Franzen one I'll give you, but Helm has as much right to the ice as the other guy. Just because Usain Bolt is the fastest runner in the world, you shouldn't penalize him for being fast and making him start ten yards further from the end. Just cause Helm is fast and can get to a spot quicker, don't penalize him for doing so. It's no surprise the Coyotes got 6 or 7 straight PPs to end this game.

He's a bum. Trade him! In all seriousness, he mostly plays the PP while playing only 29 seconds on the PK for both games. If you're not playing the PK and aren't needed at even strength because you are completely and utterly dominating the other team, then the best players are going to be rested, especially if they are old.

I personally asked Swedish people and "Onward to Victory" is "Mot Seger". The way Matt has it is the literal word for word spelling for "Onward to Victory" and is not how they say it in Sweden or Swedish. It's like we would translate "Солнце Желты" to "The yellow sun" instead of "Sun yellow".

One of the best games I have ever seen from one player. On the down side, Ericsson had one of the worst games I have ever seen him play. He didn't have many turnovers, but there were 6-7 times were he did not get the puck deep. Likewise, Howie had a sub-par game. It's just like last year. We will win every game if we take no more than 2-3 penalties. PHX can NOT score on us 5v5 or 4v4. They will get 90% of their goals on the PP.

It's like the MLS asking police to help regulate how rowdy the fans get during their games and to make sure they don't throw those silly streamers on the field of play during the game or NASCAR asking police to not let in any non red necks. I can't possibly be the only one that understands all this. Yah it's incredibly stupid and completely immature, but I understand why all this is happening.

Lilja is a DMan. HTD is a power forward. A motivated, selfless HTD is nearly unstoppable. But I don't think we'd ever see that. If we can, bring him over.
