The thing that I don't understand is why the octopus is thrown NOW? When the tradition began in the 50's it only took 8 wins to win the Cup.... shouldn't octopus be thrown when there is only 8 wins to go? (at the beginning of the Western conference final)? Or am I being a freak about this?? lol

I said the same thing the last round. It would be awesome to go to 7 games because I have tickets to game 7 but I am much happier that the Wings got it done in 6. Same goes with this round... have tickets for game 7 but would LOVE to see them get it done in 6

I hate day games when the Wings lose because the rest of your day is SHOT. Bad mood lasts all day. If it's a night game you can go to bed afterwards and it's not so bad. ALTHOUGH.... winning a day game is AWESOME because you have all night to go out and party it up. The great mood lasts all day and nothing can bring me down. Catch 22 I suppose At least they are AFTERNOON games though.. I can't imagine living on the west coast and having MORNING games. Weird!
