I'm certainly not saying Schneider isn't important, I just don't think it's the right move to completely disregard Markov to get Schneider. Everyone is saying that guys like Markov are easy to come by, if that's the case why isn't he cheaper? Also, how much (if any) of a paycut would Smyth take to play in Detroit?

Not exactly compliments, more like observations. Apparently I say "a boat" instead of "about," you know, Canadian style. Also, I tend to break into a Bostonian accent when I'm annoyed by traffic, like, "Move ya cah!! Ya friggin' retahhd!!"

Perhaps you were. I doubt people in Scotland are impressed by other Scots' accents. Much like other Michiganders aren't impressed by your accent, because they're used to it. You just have to go where it's not commonplace. I've received many comments (mostly in Colorado and California) about my "Michigan accent," whatever that is! You should go to Scotland and impress everyone there.

That's kind of what I figured, to someone observing (very) casually the Wing could look like a flame. The Red Wings do get a lot of exposure, I would think plenty of people who don't care about hockey have at least an idea of the logo looks like.

Anyone who is primarily a fighter isn't going to be playing very many games for this team. It would have to be someone who can contribute offensively and drop the gloves (like Bertuzzi before "the incident") and those players are hard to come by.
