If this is in reference to Ray Emery, he's not American and thus not African-American. He's Canadian. -
Come back Dom!!! They only reason everyone loves Howard is because he hasn't had the chance to prove to he sucks yet. I also don't understand all the criticism of his "flopping" style of play. It's not as though he was a textbook butterfly goalie that won 6 (is it 6?) Vezinas, an Olympic gold, and a Stanley Cup (with which team?) and then all of sudden in this year's playoffs decided to play the style he does. He's always done it that way, and with spectacular results.

I'm not a statistician, but here goes: The average save % in the NHL is relatively constant (around 91-92%), thus more shots will (in theory) lead to more goals and a higher winning percentage. I don't know if this makes sense, but it makes sense to me. Based on my analysis the hypothesis is incorrect.

I was wearing my authentic Larry Murphy Wings jersey for game 5, it didn't seem to work. I suppose even lucky jerseys have off nights (or afternoons), I expect it to be fully functional for games 6 & 7.

Offsides, Jean-Paul Sartre would approve of your post. My two cents: The Wings CAN win the next two games, they probably WILL win the next two games. And if for some reason they don't, it will suck, but none of us who are true Red Wings fans will have anything to regret about this season. The Wings in the playoffs this year have been a pleasure to watch and cheer on.
