Yup, yesterday the Sens/Sabres OT was on VERSUS.

I laughed out loud when I read that. I'm pretty sure this is considered a delicacy in the Czech Republic. Certainly not boring me (as someone mentioned earlier it's hard to convey tone, etc. over the internet, just so you know I'm not being sarcastic ). In fact, a "weird Dom stories" thread sounds like good reading to me, it'll be especially popular if the Wings win Sunday an he's back to greatest goalie in the universe status. edit: spelling
-
I wish the Wings still had Sawchuk and Howe.

I know a lot of people (probably most) hate Bryan Marchment, but I have had this same thought many times. He was the type everyone disliked because he wasn't on their team. I believe you are confusing Todd Marchant and Bryan Marchment, who are not the same person. Edit: clarity

I agree, C+. If the grade is "weighted" for not having played in almost 6 months, B-.

Hahaha!!!

I noticed it, I thought the "new NHL" was supposed to showcase skill-players (Zetterberg, Datsyuk) by letting them play free from obstruction. The officiating is consistent in that you can count on it being completely inconsistent. Also Lilja's "roughing" penalty?

This certainly won't hurt anything.

That's good news. Although, I hope he's back to normal once the series is over, he did go to Ferris State after all.
-
Is that the news? Everyone already knows that!
-
This is getting way off topic. Sidenote: Sounds like you worry too much.

In years past? How long has Thornton played for San Jose? I know as a new hockey fan, two seasons ago can seem like the "good ole days" but come on! Also, HockeyMom, playing hockey is much different than driving your kids to hockey.

This argument only works because of logic. Without that it makes no sense at all.

Well said.

Apparently it is no longer in effect, maybe Eddie could provide us with some of his expert analysis as to why that is the case.

Hahahahaha!

I'm not singling out JLA, it happens plenty of places, I don't like it anywhere. It just happens that we are talking about JLA.

Thank you for explaining to me why people get out of their seats, I had no idea! I have been to hundreds of sporting events, small and large venues, and yet have never found it necessary to obstruct others' view while the game was in progress. YoungGuns1340: Because I don't want people in my way I suck ass? Sounds to me like one of us sucks ass, but I don't think it's me.
-
It annoys the hell out of me. I almost started a thread about this. One would think that fans in "Hockeytown" would be willing/able to be in their seats at the beginning of the game and the 2nd and 3rd periods. Every game there are groups of people standing there looking for their seats, obstructing the view of the camera, and espcially the views of the people in the rows behind them. Then there are also the people who feel the need to stand up and/or wave their arms around when the puck is in front of them so they can be on TV. To both groups, "you suck ass." Often at the end of an exciting game, when everyone is standing (appropriately), the broadcast switches to a higher view, but it's probably too distant to use for the entire game. There, I feel a little better already. Oh yeah, I doubt Joe Louis Arena cost $100 million.

Someone on the YouTube comments section said that Perry "sounds like he's partially retaded," I would go so far as to say he's "completely" retarded.
