U guys still learning that Franzen sucks? isn't skilled athetically and is not much more than a big body out there? With all the posts on this board about Franzen and the media covering his struggle, you'd wonder if nobody has been watching him play the past 2 years.

Yeah, which seems pretty short-sighted. The B's are already a tough team. They won't win the series by "being [even] tougher" against Detroit. But perhaps it's the media putting so much focus on the "Big Bad Bruins" as opposed to something inside the B's locker room. Yet the B's are going for all these dumb hits and you know later in the game it's going to cost them some huge scoring opportunities when a Wing blows by the body or the B is caught out of position. Also the B's look fairly slow and rattled after the first. They don't really look that good to me. Definitely a 117pt regular season team (big bodies, grinding physical play...) but that does not unilaterally result in a cup winner.

At the end of the Heinekin commercial you can see the actor change a few times. At the very end with the table dance the guy is clearly Japanese. Anybody else notice that? It's weird how they play these things off like nobody will notice.

Yeah, looking at it again I see shoulder to shoulder contact too. Tough to call these, I guess, it looks like it could've went either way.

That should've been a 5 minute major, by the way. The ref was standing right in the line and should have cleanly saw the shoulder right to the head. He didn't even waive his hand. Don't understand... don't understand... this league shows no inclination to get head shots out of the game, yet the hooking calls are called every time. Did you not see him get shouldered in the head against the boards? We'll get to watch the replay... Yeah it was hilarious to see him get battered by Z and the reds.
