Wow, we never played him in the NHL and traded him to a team that's already playing him and he's already got a goal + assist? Wow. Already better than Legwand (by far, considering how many penalities Legwand's taken). In 3GP he has 1G 3A +5 PIM 0. Legwand has done little and risked our whole season with stupid penalties twice. And he's old. And Jarnkrok will just get better. Lol.

The kid line has been the #1 line my mind the past 2-3 weeks. It's like a formality at this point that they aren't getting top minutes.

This offseason I would love to see Bertuzzi and Franzen gone. And I don't have anything bad to say about Cleary or Quincey. Anyway... back to our 2-1 game.

I don't think he can play hard. He lacks all the athleticism and balance to be a threat. Where Hossa makes a move, Franzen falls. The dude is just not a star. I think we should stop calling him a floater and call him ... hmm... not atheletic or gifted. Hands are gifted, but the body... far from it. When he's hot its because the puck is getting to him. Because of his linemates.

Yeah, I feel like you. Are they better than their record though? After watching the past few games? I'm wondering if their record is a bit inflated. That is, those wins were with the uninjured forwards. THIS lineup seems far away from a #8th seed. Sad but not surprising.

I'm so tired of hearing Franzen's name. We should accept he sucks. That means buying him out in the offseason, or if he goes 15 games without a goal that nobody should be surprised. Mickey said we should throw Nyquist on the line with him to "light a spark" under the Mule's ass. Why should we? Bad players don't score or skate and Franzen appears to be a bad player. If it walks and talks like a duck... And if splitting up the only good line to inspire Franzen to actually play doesn't work, you've created two disasters out of one. No player from Grand Rapids would get Nyquist to play with them just to help them out. Why should our laziest forward get that treatment? Because we wasted millions of dollars on him? Franzen is a sinking ship and this organization needs to withhold putting any more energy into this disaster. we should also accept Bertuzzi sucks. why babs puts out a -17 dude with no potential baffles me

The past 2 and a half games have been perhaps the Wings' worst all season. It's a bad telling sign. Bubble teams can't struggle in this stretch and hope to make it in.

Where the hell is Weiss, why has he been out so long, when the hell is he coming back, and why the hell hasn't anybody given us any updates.

What sucks is that they came so close. If we were Buffalo I'd probably enjoy the 2-0 game and just watch Sheahan and Tatar grow.
