Don't want to hear that - Dallas has been able to take their first two on the road for both of their series thus far. Wings have to come out strong, keep the pressure on, and take the first one (and the second!)

I read somewhere that after the game where Al twirled it in the Zamboni enterance, the NHL said that was "not allowed" either. The lift of the ban will still not allow him to twirl it "on the ice", but he can run out, get it, and twirl it off the ice...

From what I can remember, the last three rows in the corners are not "stadium seating" so the three rows are flat and back to back. I think if you have people directly in front of you, you have to stand to see anything. At that point, you'd be better off with standing room only - then you're at the top of the upper bowl.

Most memorable seats for us was Game 5 of last years Calgary game. I'm sure you all remember that was the game that they threw in their relief goalie for about 18 seconds before the infamous torso slash! Our seats were about 4-5 rows behind the Flames bench!!! Beer was flying down and security tackled some guy behind us! Memorable ~ Very!!!!

The sad thing is that the media coverage of NHL in general doesn't seem that far off from this "article". The Lions and NFL draft get more coverage than the Red Wings Playoffs!

That always looks so cool on tv if people will actually wear them! I really wish I was going to the game now!

MGM Grand Casino is within walking distance although I think rooms are pretty pricey. Oh and if you are like my husband who can't wait to get to Authentics, bring lots of spending money! Also, in regards to seats, I have been anywhere from lower bowl to upperbowl. The only seats I would not recommend are the "obstructed view". Other than that, I really don't think there is a "bad" seat at the Joe - and even from the upper upper bowl, you can see quite well without binocs.

I was thinking the same thing about mixing up the defensive pairings. I think that these pairing will complement each other well and will give us two options - both with talent and physicality - for the Dallas offensive lines. I cannot wait for the series to start! Glad to hear Flip is back on the ice!

I would love to see the Leafs regrounp and be able to put something together. Leafs are one of my favorite Original 6 teams - second of course to Wings!

Dallas has had a much tougher path to get to this point. After a 7-period game last night they have to be tired - even with the time off. Today is shot for that team after their early morning victory and still having to travel to Detroit; I can't say today is much of a rest day for them. Here's hoping it hinders them somewhat against the Wings. I have to say Wings in 5 - just because I have game 5 tickets and want to be there for the deciding win that brings them to the SCF!

I haven't watched much of this series - just a few minutes here and there. I did just hear the TSN announcers say that Dallas has only had ONE line score this entire series. I find that interesting after seeing the way we are able to score with all 4 of our lines and then mix up our lines and still produce.

I thought the next round wouldn't start until after the 7th scheduled game, regardless if none of them are played or not. Plus, at the very least, won't we have to wait for the East to finish too so that R3 starts the same time for both East and West?

The Fans! I was fortunate enough to be at the Joe for game 2 of this series and it was the loudest and most energized it had been in a long time! From singing "Sweet Caroline" to the constant OZZIE chants through the third period when the puck even came near him, it was fun and memorable. Franzen is amazing right now, no doubt about it. Ozzie is coming up with some timely saves. Z and Pavel continue to defy what should be physically possible to do with the puck. The entire team is really firing together right now.
