It shoudl depend on who we play. This is what mlive.com is saying: No definitive word on when the next round will start. The Wings seemed to think Thursday, which makes sense if it's Colorado. But if it's Calgary, maybe it will be start on Friday. Don't know if the league would make the Flames play Thursday in Detroit after playing Tuesday night in San Jose. So, if we stick with Colorado, I'm guessing: G1 Thurs 24th, G2 Sat 26th, G3 Mon 28th, G4 Wed 30th, G5 Fri 2nd, G6 Sun 4th, G7 Tue 6th If Calgary pulls it out, I'm guessing: G1 Fri 25, G2 Sun 27, G3 Tue 29, G4 Thur 1st, G5 Sat 3rd, G6 Mon 5th, G7 Wed 7th But then again, you never know if they will throw a back to back game in there...hopefully you'll have a stretch of a few days to go! (again, true) *When people call so send their sympathies after a playoff loss and you have a black jersey for mourning. (true) *Also agree with the "game day tradition" posts and the outcomes affecting your mood for days; it's a passion not a hobby.

This tax has nothing to do with the actual price of tickets. It's a new state tax in addition to our regular 6% sales tax - a 2% tax on servies. Items such as haircuts/salon fees, ticket prices - including movie tickets, a round of golf, ect are all included in the tax. Yeah Granholm I think our GM is just trying to get the word out to people so there is not backlash against the Wings organization for the increased charges and put it into our hands to fight against the tax.

I don't blame the loss on Dom, but don't like his style and wasn't really thrilled to have got him back at the beginning of the year. It seems as though some softies always found the back of the net and too many goals were scored with him on his back leaving the entire top 3/4ths of the net open. But, he made some saves and we got farther this year than previous years, so I'm not bashing him either. I don't see how Howard will ever be ready if we don't let him play...I think Giguere will be too much $$$ I'd hate to see Schneids go and don't see him leaving. Lang is the only one I really see us cutting loose. Ryan Smyth might be nice, but I kinda see Edmonton fighting to get him back and I think he'd want to go back "home". Size and grit added to our team. We tried to get some of that with Bert, but I just don't think he'll ever be his "pre-moore" self again.

Was at R1 G2 and 5; R2G2; and R3G5. There were SO many good moments! I loved how the intensity at the Joe just got higher and higher with each round. I was glad to see the acrobats go for the later rounds - really didn't do much to get the crowd pumped - a band or something would have been better maybe? And as the same songs were played over and over pregame, it was exciting as we grew closer and closer to game time and knowing how many songs were left before they came out of the locker room! Favorite game was R1G5. The penalty shot was SO amazing! History was made at the Joe. And our seats were about 6 rows up from the Calgary tunnel, so there was a riot down there after Kipp had to replace his back-up goon. Much beer was thrown! After we beat the Sharks in game two, it was crazy walking out. Everyone was cheering and still chanting "Let's Go Red Wings" and horns were blaring as we went down from Cobo Roof like we had won the cup. We were driving home and were about 1.5 hrs outside Detroit and we saw another car passing us with their rally towels hanging outside their car windows still cheering to fellow fans and honking! That was fun too - this team has Class A fans! Worst feeling - well obv. R3G5. Last minute was killer - very nervously excited and then just like that, it was over =( Can't wait until playoffs 2008!! Summers are SO long!

Very nicely said!!! My prediction at the beginning was that this was going to 7 games and I still think it will (I was hoping to be up 3-2 at this point, but hey, we're not done!). Seems there are many so-called "fans" jumping off the bandwagon, but hey, more room for us to stretch out!!! :beerbuddy: It's OUR year!

I heard that interview too. I couldn't stand the VS intermission so streamed the CBC feed. Stevie handles the toughest (and dumbest!) of questions with ease.

Ducks have not had many Wins in our building. I can't foresee them being able to do that more than once this post season - game 5 is definely ours and we can ride that momemtum back for game 6! Two days off between these games may hurt the Ducks momentum from last nights win a bit. Wings know what's on the line. And the Joe will be Rockin' Loud!!!!!!!
