Maybe, but when we bought them (from Authentics) we were told that this is something that Zett does. As I would agree with your comment of wearing them out frequently, I'm sure they also have replacements readily available and go through a few pairs/season. Here are a couple pics as promised. Yeah, I remember hearing that if we weren't going to place him with the Wings, he didn't want to play at all for us (at Griffs level). Too bad he wasn't interested in conditioning and getting to where he needed to be to play with us - just look at the comeback Mac did (and was older while doing it). Grigorenko had the potental, but not enough determination and drive to play Wings-style!

Welcome to LGW. If both teams win the odds and meet up, it will be one great series! Looking forward to it already. I haven't seen an entire Pens game from start to finish. I really tried last night, but it just seemed so slow and boring. I am wondering if it is because Philly couldn't get much going and dragged the game right down? I can certainly comment about the Wings though! I think once you see them really in action, they will surprise you. Pavel and Zett are known for their offensive capabilities that what they do on the other side of the puck is often overlooked by opposing fans. Also in regards to last nights game, I didn't see much traffice in-front of Fleury. That is going to be just one of many aspects of the Wings game for him to contend with. Also, as stated, our opposition has been unable to set up and take more than 20 shots per game. Again, a bit of adversity that I don't think the Pens have had to contend with yet. And my last comment, in regards to our line-up. Our lines are constantly changing. Babs isn't afraid to mix up guys and throw all sorts of new looks on the ice. The chemistry our guys have not only with thier own "usual line" but with the rest of the team is simply amazing. Should be some great games of hockey! I also expect Dallas to really come on strong. They saw how SJ came back to bring it to 4OTs in their game 6 and know it's not impossible (just improbable) With that said, I'm looking forward to tomorrow night! Either Wings finish them off and rest up or I'll be going to the Joe on Saturday! It's really Win-Win situation for me

That's exactly what it is. We bought a pair of his game used gloves and there is a hole that he made in them on the palm. When it looks like he is kissing his gloves, he's putting his mouthguard in the hole he made! I'll try to get a pic up later

Oh lord...I can completely see how they would think it is unfair that we drafted two guys in the LATE rounds - after they (not completely sure about Z, but Dats for sure) had been draft eligible for a year or two prior. Totally unfair - the league really needs to do something to prevents this BS from happening! People will always find something to complain about...

I've really loved watching Pavs progress emotionally on the ice over the years. From a quiet kid just going out and doing his thing to what we are seeing now. Looking forward to many more years of the Euro Twins in red and white! :banana: :banana: :banana:

Not cocky - just an opinion. From what I've seen of Pitts, they look like they play a slower game than we do. I don't think they've faced a team as defensive minded as we are. With Dats and Zetts a force both offensively and defensively, I think *and hope* Pitts with have a rude awakening. I also don't think Fleury is an A+ Gtender.

Me either - guess that's just one more game to buy for the SCF!!
