It's great to see that Lidstrom has only gotten better through the playoffs. He was a little shaky at first, at least compared to his usual self.

Hasek and Holmstrom made the biggest difference, in my opinion. I'd have to go with Hasek for MVP.

Age will not kill the Red Wings, and neither will physical play from the Ducks. You sound like a Calgary fan. What next? Are you going to tell me that the Wings made the number one spot by beating on a weak division?

With their attendance the way it is for the playoffs and the state of the economy in the state, I don't think they will raise the ticket prices. I sure as hell hope not. By the way, I just joined today. I've been coming to the forums since the beginning of the season but, until now, I've only read. Sorry to get off topic.

I also admit I was scared, but I thought that the Wings could pull it off. I still do. My original prediction was Wings in 7, but I think I'm going with Wings in 6 now. I can't help but think of the Calgary series. Both teams are going to be desperate. I may be in for another night of high blood pressure and frustration, and then hopefully, like game 4, euphoria.

It's a little bit ridiculous that they would do this following a season that they didn't even make it to the playoffs. If the team had a great year, the fans wouldn't feel so violated after having a price raise.

Maybe they should wait for a good season before they raise ticket prices.
