I dont think it could go from 4 to 1, itd have to go 4-3-2-1 or something like that because it cant decrease by more then 50% between any 2 seasons, BUT I could be wrong.

Now, I finally get to say this!!!!!!!!!! We would be better if we played in the weak Pacific division like the sharks do, we are the only division in all the NHL that has 5 teams that are all competitive and playoff worthy, the Pacific has 2, and the other 3 are fighting for last place. Next, I think anyone would take Detroit's second line that could either be Zetterberg or Hossa plus Franzen on it over the Shark's second line, its almost a no brainer. Will the sharks when the cup? Maybe, but I still like the wing's odds.

Nooo, the yotes have more then enough time to lose convincingly, change to their away uniforms, go through airport security and fly to SJ. I mean its a well known fact that just like most pizza companies the yotes have a 30 min promise (they will lose in 30 mins or less or its free).

If the wings don't make it to the SCF I would prefer Chicago or Columbus to win it, because I NEVER want to see another cup in California....

If we have to play the Quacks though, id rather do it first round and play them fresh and get them out of the way....Its worse when they make it past the first round, their style of play can wear a team down and if the Wings see them past the first round it could cost us.

Id say the best case for Z for C is the contract he signed, he showed he'd give up the HUGE cash to stay with the team he loved, he could have EASILY gotten more then Dats for his cap hit, but instead he gave up some of it so the wings can stay the great org they are and hes locked up for life. Dats isn't a bad choice, but definately looking like Z is the better choice.

Id rather have him like that then like Manny was a few seasons back 'why me why me why me????'..... Confidence is what a goalie needs...
