As I said, I would love Jones or Parenteau to the Wings. Brown/Nash/Lupul/etc would cost too much, but Allen and Parenteau could be relative steals. -

The biggest problem there are already too many players on the bottom 6, the Wings most pressing need is a top 6 winger, this time that Dats has been out has proved how terrible our top 6 is. -

Talks for Gaustad seem to have broken down, couple sources pointing to this. PA Parenteau would be an interesting pick up though. -
Bottom 6 is pretty much set, the lack of a real scoring Winger in the top 6 is becoming painfully clear.

No bottom 6 guys, you have: Eaves, Emmerton, Miller, Abs, Helm, Holmstrom, Mursak, Cleary on the healthy team competing for those 6 spots. They need a top six scoring winner, look at how the team has been since Dats had the surgery, offensively they have been terrible.

It'd be nice to get a veteran D-man and a borderline 2-3 line center, so Babs has more options for lines come playoff time. -

Sorry, but thats not an overpayment for a player who has had a 70+ pt season and 2 season over 30 goals who is also 24.

I know you love Filppula and hes putting up a great season but if you think Holland and Co wouldn't trade him (as part of a package) for a Ryan/Parise you are insane.

Fixed. Why? It gives Z a very good natural goal scorer on his wing, and it gives Tatar 2 above average play makers.
