Don't worry I will. It has been shown since the institution of the cap a team must pick its players a lot more carefully than they had to before. A one dimensional enforcer aren't a part of what the Wings Philosophy uses to make a complete team. The wings system is built around two scoring lines that are also defensively sound, a third energy line that can score on occasion and a fourth with young kids/shut down players. I would support a 5th/6th physical defenseman who also can fight because that would fit into the wings system better.

Useless because we can debate this idea all night and all day its not going to materialize an enforcer on to the wings.

Miller, Draper, Eaves, Abs, and Helm, theres 5 people in 3 spots in the bottom 3, and then theres the cap, and that pesky idea that a player that will play 3 minutes a night and sit 5 mines in the box puts more strain on the Wings other lines that just makes this seem like another useless dumb debate about enforcers.

Its scary but I totally agree with you, if the Wings trade him they have to get someone who is a BETTER second line center OFFENSIVELY not worse with some fighting ability, Fisher IS a third line center. Newfy, this isn't NHL 2011 you can't just look at stats, some fighting videos and think hes going to plug in well. Filppula is a pretty good puck moving center and if he is to be traded with some picks/prospects the wings need to bring back someone who will provide more offensive upside than anyone like Fisher.

No enforcer. Its a waste of roster space, they never fit into the wings' system of rolling four balanced lines and will put further strain on the top two lines to do the bulk of the scoring. Currently completing a double major in biology and pre-med (biomedical science), and minors in Chemistry and German.

Yea, but all 4 of the Islanders' fans really don't count as exposure. I promise you that this whole Wings signing/Waiver situation has gotten him 95% of the exposure hes likely to get this season now that hes an Islander.

Hudler is improving, it seems hes getting his confidence back and it seems the wing's brass is noticing because hes not been benched lately

Ovie will be back, hes too good not to be able to bounce back, I am sure next season he will have a great season and every NHL talking head will claim they called it first.

You are a lucky guy, this is why I love hockey players (and some baseball players) because they are for the most part very down to earth people who understand it is not their birth right to be rich and famous. I and the rest of LGW (I hope) thank you for sharing your experience .

Actually good old fashion hockey didn't have hits to the head because what ever Brown did to Jovo someone else would do to him in spades. Good old fashioned hockey would have been Jovo seeing Brown coming and him sticking his elbow out to protect himself.

For good karma I predict: the wings will win with a score of 365-2, every forward with 10 hat tricks and MacDonald with 3 goals and 240 assists to overtake Crosby as tops in points so far this season. In seriousness: Wings will win if they decide to play for more than a period and a half.

Yes true, but it seems that the season or two after we draft a North American with a high pick they underachieve. I hope Sheahan will turn it around, but, otherwise its weird how our luck has been with them lately.
