Pick an upset and defend it

Ok, this is one of my favorite parts of the playoffs... trying to figure out which team is going to get bounced from the playoffs. So A simple question: Who will upset who, and why? My pick: Nashville. Why? Because Nashville has a great defense, a top tier goaltender, and I see these being low scoring affairs, if Rinne can steal 2 games, Nashville will win. Chicago's defense outside their first pairing is still suspect, Nemi, while a decent goaltender has never really had to steal any games for chicago this year, and we all know a goalie has to elevate their game for the playoffs. Besides, how many times can one team be bounced in round one?

Lester B. Pearson Award renamed - Lindsay!

I doubt it because this is a recognition for his work establishing the NHLPA more than his production as a player

    Ian Laperriere

Got me on one count. As for the rest, Ozzy, eh, Always was a Hasek fan, everyone knows my Opinion on May and Benedict Hull who keeps predicting the downfall of the wings can insert something very uncomfortable in an anatomically incorrect place in an impossible manor.

I still hate him, I wouldn't want anyone from the Avs or Blues on the Wings ever. If it makes people feel any better, I would still have him even if he saved a church load of nuns and puppies from a fire.

    Lidstrom

*Plugs ears* LIDS CAN NEVER RETIRE! ITS IMPOSSIBLE! I really can't imagine the Wings without Lids, hes the heart and soul of the team... I know its just a matter of time, but, I just hope this year isn't the year.

    Vancouver-conspiracy theories

Well, who would think that a fan base that when the Nucks clinched their playoff birth started planning the parade would believe something irrational?

Even if Sharks win tonight, the Avs will have to feel great about the series so far, tied up, going back home and 3 of the last 5 at home.

I think the X factor in this series would be Anderson, hes stands on his head, it could mean a long golf season in San Jose again.
