Actually legal revenues if they dont drop by more than 5% would keep the cap at the same level (the NHLPA can add a 5% inflator every year) so unless things get drastically worse in the NHL (and with the FA this summer, i think they wont) the cap may not drop by much if any at all.

So long as Ozzy improves his sub .900 sv% the wings PK and GA will both be a lot better (mark my words on this one). I say Prospal would be a good pick up with lines like this D-Z-Cleary Mule-Flip-Prospal Eaves-Helm-Leino Maltby-Draper-Homer These lines would give the wings 2 good scoring lines and their last 2 lines would be defensively just as good, if not better than last season. Personally I dont see why all the man love for grier, he's a decent grinder, but hes 34 and on the decline, I would rather see someone who can score over an aging grinder.

if we signed him below 1 mill we still have room for one more scorer and will have a guy who could replace some of what we lost on the 3rd line with the departure of hudler, without the high price tag.

that problem wont be solved by adding a grinder who will see 8-10 mins a game, it will be helped by adding 2 defensively sound players and Ozzy not s***ting the bed in the Reg Season.

Simple Because outside of 3 players the wings don't have anyone that a sane person would call a good scoring forward in our top 6. We need atleast 1 more bonified scorer to round out the top 6 to get it up to snuff, not a hossa level guy, but someone who can put it in the net 20 times a year. I am not retarded to think we wil replace all 88 goals we lost, but, we cant just hope that what we have will fill the holes in the roster. A grinder would be nice, but, we are more hurting in the GF colum after this season's loses than the GA.

Hes a great player, and while he did have an offseason, theres not much to say about him, he always comes to play, hes a great leader in the wings organization and I am glad hes gunna be a wing for a very long time.
