I recently watched the aka tommy chong documentary so I'm just sort of fired up about it for no apparent reason. Didn't really mean to take a shot a ya over that. I don't have much to base this on, but I don't think people like playing for Therrian.

That is kind of a bummer. I should have known that thinking I could watch the wings without paying for TV was too good to be true. Question to the people who had NHL Center Ice Online: So there wasn't any blackouts for the FSN games? Just the NHL Network, NBC and Versus? I wouldn't mind paying for it if I get the FSN Detroit feeds. Can you also watch the feed from the opposing teams network too?

yep, you're correct. I was just saying that on that show the keeper of the cup mentioned that guy from the Lightning to give an example of an organization getting a players name on the cup that doesn't meet the criteria that everyone keeps saying over and over again. I know that the rules say, I was just mentioning that teams can petition to have them bent.

yep, I listened to that one as well. I believe they said campbell or one of the other higher ups has the final word, but any team can lobby to have a players name put on the cup. I think they said during that show that the Tampa Bay Lightning lobbied to get a players name on the cup that only played like 8 games during the regular season. They stated thier case as he was a pivotal part of the team, off the ice. The only concrete rule is you need to be a player of the team. I bet Kopeckey gets his name on there as well.

The game will only go to versus for people who live outside the detroit/dallas markets. OT will stay on NBC for us. At least thats what E.J. Hradek assured the XM listeners on NHL Live yesterday.

aynone with xm familiar with the "pests" of the Opie and Anthony show? anyway, they are notorious for getting through the "screeners" on talk radio shows only to trash the host of the show when they eventually get thier call taken and bring the show to a screeching halt. They usually all call in sequence so a bunch of them are queued up and act like they have a topic to discuss. When the call starts they usually start out with a few on topic sentecnces to lull the host into a false sense of security and then start yealling about whatever they want. I would love to hear bettmen take call after call of people telling him he is worthless, and an idiot and any other type of clean insults to keep the calls from being dumped. ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffrunkis!

Ken Holland was a guest on the Power Play on XM Home Ice today. He was asked about still being in the Brunnstrom mix. He said that they're prepared to make their pitch, Money isn't an issue. He said he isn't overly optimisitc about him but likes his potential and went on to talk about giving players the right environment to allow them to develop on thier own.

interesting.....perhaps parents should teach their kids rather than relying on "strangers" to set the example. Maybe, we can vote in Hilary so someone can finally clean things up. Parents don't need to "parent". They are far too busy. /lame Maybe there can be a parents "section". Kind of like the cry-room at church.

I didn't really sound like trotz was complaining to me. Now listening to the war room this morning, they were certainly complaining about it. One Canadian fellow on the show whose name I can't remember said he thinks it was clearly offsides. He also said that even though he realised Detroit is the better team, he is still sticking with his prediction of Nashville beating the wings. I've been listening to XM for most of the season. No one talks about the wings all season (which I don't really mind because I like to hear about teams I don't follow) now that the playoffs are going, I hear all kinds of talk about the wings. Usually about how they will lose. But if I was a Canadians fan, I would be hoping to not meet the wings in the finals as well.

The hockey shows on XM have been speculating about that as well. One guy even said that Detroit will give him the 8 mil he deserves. thats a lot.

This is the best solution I have found: Replay Screencast or they make this one: Replay Media Catcher But that one looks similiar to the orbit downloader. Replay Screencast will work but it isn't free.

Don't waste your money on Knockout Hockey. They suck bad. The fights suck, the teams suck, there are no NHL fights, the music sucks, the segways suck, it came in cheap sucky packaging. The shipping also sucked. It took 11 weeks for them to arrive after I ordered them.
