I think that this offseason is going to be a pressure cooker for Holland. He has stood pat for too long now and the rest of the league is catching up to the Wings because of it. I smell a huge offseason, Holland is too good of a GM not to.

Haha, this post totally just made me realize that there are far more important things in life than letting sports ruin your day.

These guys are ******* garbage. f*** playoff seeding; these bums don't deserve to get in. I hope Holland uses his cap space on some more reclamation projects and pulls a laundry list of excuses out of his ass to justify it. Back to the drawing board, this thing isn't working anymore.

I don't expect him to go all "Torts" and start a s***storm, but his teams desire isn't there and whatever he's doing behind the scenes isn't working. I like Babs, but maybe he needs to be more straight forward and not so passive aggressive. As for the team, everyone knows how bad they're playing. People at work who don't even follow hockey are asking me what's going on with them. Being the talk of the league for being bad should be motivation enough, but who knows . . .

Three things: A- I'm glad I zonked out while it was tied as this outcome against the Sharks was inevitable in any circumstance. B- just reading Babcock's cliche/scripted post game quotes just makes me boil. Dude is a great coach but cannot motivate these guys to save his life. C- In the spirit of "what have you done for me lately?" Holland goes on to the hit seat this offseason. He seems to always have an excuse. He can't just stand pat and watch everyone else get better. It's that simple. I try not to complain too much because I have been more than spoiled by this team but I'm already ready to put this roller coaster season in the rear view mirror and it could still be far from over.

I'm considering offering you to the Jackets board in return for one fan who has been patient through all of their misery and would appreciate the s*** out of rooting for a team like the Wings. But I wouldn't do that to them, hell, I wouldn't even wish you on the Sharks.

Huds is either mindblowing or gives you those what the f*** moments in shootouts. He's been pretty brutal as of recent. I think Val should get a chance, if that doesn't work they should go back to the drawing board. For all of the talent the Wings have, they definitely lack in beyond 3 players in SO's.

I'm okay with this deal. Ignore that he is a former Wings cast off and look at the fact that they got a legit top 4 D-man to jump right in and play along side dips***. Detroit is close right now and I have no issues sending off a late first for someone who can come in RIGHT NOW and make an impact. I love how everyone praises Holland for his success building Cup winning teams but everyone is ready to throw him under the bus every time he makes a deal for someone who isn't Parise or Doughty.
