I'm not sure if anyone has heard, the Flyers are the second highest scoring team in the league.

    Red Wings Tattoo

I understand why people don't want tattoos, particularly of sports teams. I'm not going to go on a Miami Ink-ish type rant about what my tattoos mean, but to sum it up, I just get stuff that I like or define who I am tattooed on me. I can look at everything that I have and acknowledge how I felt and where I was in life when I got it, it's like a timeline. Everyone knows me as someone who is passionate about sports and as I really do live and breathe the teams I like, I have the logos of the teams that I love. People are allowed their own level of fandom. I will never judge anyone as being a bandwagoner, casual or even a psycho about it like myself (it almost takes the fun out of it). I guess I'm ranting because I get told that I'm dumb a lot for getting sports related tattoos, but to each their own. People should be able to do what they want to do without getting s*** for it.

They have nothing in the SO past Bert... be grateful for the point here. Should be a roller coster of a couple weeks. I don't see them making a move for a backup.

Is it me or does it seem that the 6th attacker works against the Wings more often than it doesn't?

If you're this big of a ****** with the Wings in first place, will you kill yourself if they slump their way down in the standings? I'd be perfectly okay with that scenario.

    Future retired numbers

Aside from the obvious Lidstrom, Datsyuk is the only one that I see having a shot at making it to the rafters. If he continues his dominance, adds another championship to his resume and finishes his career with the Wings, it's a no brainer. If you look at the fact that the likes of Osgood, Draper and even Holmstrom who have been major factors to the Wings success over the last 2 decades, it doesn't bode well for Z, Franzen or Kronwall, who will likely be Wings for life with success in Detroit. Retiring jersey's is something sacred, I don't think teams need 20 jersey's retired like the Habs do. It should be for the organizational greats.
