Holy s*** these Columbus announcers on this NHL.com radio feed are obnoxious. They scream like they just scored a game 7 OT winner every time the Jackets take a shot. Boo to not being able to this on TV

And all of the big guns, Dats, Hos, Lids, Z, etc were relatively quiet tonight. . . can't wait to see what happens when they get on board.

What a game. Zetterberg was a beast today, too bad he didn't score; and Osgood definitely made up for that first goal (I'm indifferent about the second) with his big saves down the stretch. All and all, they could have done without all of the giveaways in the third, but their offense was sure clicking against a great defensive team. GO WINGS!!!!

Ugh, who cares about the Presidents Trophy/Number 1 seed? Until San Jose can win in the playoffs, the 2 seed is technically the number 1 It's hard to be optimistic at this point, but let them do their thing and try to figure it out, let's start panicking when the Wings have their backs against the wall in the playoffs. So, if every defensive breakdown is supposed to result in a goal, what is the point of even having a goalie? I could see if he were getting shelled every game, but this unacceptable. The Wings are constantly playing in a deficit from the first 2 - 3 minutes a game, making them play the other teams game. Hell, they might as well have just kept Manny Legace, this is the same s*** as 2005-06. He's always been as good as defence is, when his defence struggles, he sucks. Hence he didn't do so hot in other uniforms.

Man, I want one of those Lidstrom Winter Classic jersey's. . . I'm really stoked for this game!

Sunday Philly over Edmonton

People have been spoiled by successful Wings teams. They've managed to win games despite playing pretty bad. It's three weeks into the season and they haven't found their groove yet. I'll start worrying in March when they're third in the division and on the verge on not making the playoffs. Calm down, it's a loooong season.
