The first thing I thought of was the goal against Vancouver in the 2002 playoffs... but I'll have to go with the Norris that he's going to win tomorrow!

And above everything, he's actually breaking out of his humble shell and starting to show a little personality Excellent, excellent post season... He'll be one of the top players in the league for years to come.

Now that the remote is reassembled and my hand has stopped swelling... I'll step back into the other room with my company. I think my 11 year no puking streak was close to an end as well. This game sucked the life out of me... less than a minute, on MINUTE. Ugh. Whether Detroit has been better or not, they're still down 3-2 going back to Anaheim. They need to play a flawless game in Anaheim and bring it back to the Joe for game 7. Let's go get 'em... Go Wings.

Deserving/dominating or not, they've blown 2 games in a row now. It's hard to recover from a blow like they took with less than a minute today . I don't see them winning game 6 in Anaheim, let's hope I'm wrong. Go Wings (still).

I like that Pronger is out, but this game still scares the hell out of me. Let's take it tonight and wrap it up at home on Sunday. I'll make sure NOT to wear my Wings hat today, as I feel like it jinxes the team. Go Wings!

Here's what Carlyle had to say... "Both pucks were in the net. It's as simple as that," Carlyle said. "You're supposed to be rewarded when the puck goes in the net." So I guess the Wings teams can kick and throw pucks in to the net as well and it's legit huh? Am I the only one who missed this change of rules? The first goal was legit and plain as day, no complaints. The second one was awful . It's one thing to be grateful that you caught such a big break, but it's another thing to actually believe that it was fair. I'm not one to complain about the officials, but that call made me sick. The NBA is notorious for making bad calls that decide or help decide games... but I didn't think I'd see it here. Who knows what would have happened had it not been called a goal, but the fact is, it changed the momentum of the game. If the Wings don't end up winning this series, this call is going to be embedded in my mind for a long time. It's a five game series now, let's at least go for a split and bring it back to the Joe and steal home ice back. A bit discouraged now, but still confident. Go Wings!

No predictions here, let's just hope the Wings head to SoCal with a 2-0 series lead. Keep dominating, Dom! Go Wings!

I started getting into hockey when I was in Junior High. At first, I took a liking to the Penguins because I liked Lemieux. I started getting into the Wings when they had the Russian 5 (Kozlov, Konstantinov, Federov, Fetisov and Larionov). I just kind of got attached to the Wings after that, epecially Yzerman. When got into High School, I ended up on a roller hockey team called the Red Wings. I started wearing my Red Wings jersey to school and everyone talked Red Wings with me and I pretty much found a team to be passionate about. That year (1997), they finally broke their 42 year cup drought. 10 years later, I now have Yzermans 19 tattooed on my wrist and an autographed Yzerman jersey hanging on my living room wall. I love the team as much as I ever did. I plan on trying to make it out to the Joe at some point in the next couple years to witness my first NHL game. My current favorite player is Pavel Datsyuk, and I'm estatic that the Wings locked him up for the next 7 years. Go Wings!
