Well I dunno about $30 tickets, might be legit, sounds fishy. A friend of mine from Vancouver who is envolved in law enforcement has told me about scams with phony emailed tickets for Canucks games in the past, but I also know that you can get legitimate tickets that way too. I would guess it depends on the reliabilty of the source, the price is what would make me suspect, but that just goes back to the old addage if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I've already got my center ice seats for tommorow so I'm glad I don't have to take my chances; a pair of $158 tickets couple rows into the second teir for $99 each, gogo ebay and fedex overnight! Hopefully we can head west up 2-0, atmosphere has been great at the Joe for the Calgary and SJ games I went to, so it should be well worth the $ tommorow. Here's to winning

Don Cherry is a card love him or hate him, I'll just say that, but there is a reason you shouldn't mic up people for a playoff game on a nationally televised broadcast, Perry should have been smart enough to not say that when he knew the mic was there too, but whatever. Reguardless of why he said it, trying to look hard on TV or if he was going to say it anyway.... you, I , and everyone else knows that was some of the more G rated stuff said out there and I'm SURE they all say much, much, worse. I don't think he meant they were going to come at them with cheap shots, just come at them hard.

Sigh.... Im usually a reader only/lurker and I forgot my login, so I made a new name to respond to your post. Having broken both my wrist and ankle before I would venture to guess that his bone wasn't damaged as badly as they first anticipated. Usually surgery is only a requirement when you have a shattered / misaligned bone that requires pins or screws to be implanted to hold it togeather, or if you have a compound fracture (where the bone punctures out through the skin). Both of my breaks were what they call "hairline" fractures where the bone was broken, but not misaligned, so on the x-ray it looks like little a hair going across the bone. It sounds like Schneid's break must have been worse than that, but not bad enough to merit surgical attention, so my completely unprofessional guess would be that he'll be in a cast and healthy again well before training camp, probably even within a couple weeks after the playoffs. Also, not to hijack the thread, but has anybody heard anything new about Kronwall's condition?
