That's a potential career ender right there, plain and simple. You just don't do that, especially someone like him who is so good he doesn't have to worry about this type of low brow garbage. The guy needs to get a handle on his emotions, he celebrates huge when he's playing well and that's fine, but you don't take runs at guys when you're not. Grow up, you're a professional now act like one. It's just sad that he's not being held accountable like one, that's a game misconduct and suspension in a lot of other guy's shoes.

Well it's a bit different when you're talking about a multi million dollar asset. Once Wisnewski went down and didn't come back up immediately I think the team opted to protect that investment rather than let him get up and skate away. I see where you're coming from, but having friends with a background in trauma medicine, the other thing to consider also is that every injury, no matter how similar, can produce very different results. Where one guy walks out of the hospital with no ill effects, another with a very similar injury might die, it just depends how an individual's body reacts, and how lucky / unlucky they are. That aside, his remarks were unwarranted, I watched that video 5 or 6 times and couldn't spot an elbow by Holmer. Not to mention the fact, like others have mentioned Wisnewski is kind of throwing rocks from a glass house saying stuff like that.

I'd like to see it myself. I was listening to it on the radio because I was studying for finals, and well lets face it if I had the TV on I wouldn't have studied much. Hell here I am at 5:30am pulling an all nighter before I take the damn thing in 3 hours! Anyways, anybody have a pic or video?

Optimism is an excellent test of character. It's easy to be optimistic when you're holding the tall chip stack at the final table, but God love the man who's smiling when the blinds put him all in. Anyways, it's easy for me to be optimistic, I supported this team when they hadn't won a cup in over 40 years, if they fall of the map again in the future, so be it, I'll still root for them. Hell maybe then I could afford season tickets!

QFT Should get 3 chances to review a goal judgment per game. It's like performing cardiac surgery with a butter knife when there's a scalpel in the tray right next to it.

Well that sounds like an overreaction, but whatever can't say I really blame you. Fact is until coaches get the ability to request video review on goal verdicts then we will always be dealing with the human error of referees. Even after that we'll have to deal with officials still screwing up the call even after a video review, just like football. Can't win em' all, even if you deserve to, that's just life man.

I agree he's been invisible of late. Not to play devil's advocate, but I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out later that he's dealing with some kind of a nagging injury. Not enough to bench but just enough to gimp him. Hard to believe he's playing like this while in good health, but not impossible.

Sadly this stuff happens at most sporting events where alcohol is present. I was at The Joe last season with a friend and we almost got into a fight with 2 other piss drunk Wings fans because they where pushing and shoving some old guy with a Dallas jersey on after he went the wrong way into the bathroom, something he obviously didn't know he did wrong, until the two started harassing him. The bottom line with most situations like this is that idiots who revert to 12 year olds after a couple of beers shouldn't be allowed to drink, much less do it in a social environment. If these incidents you're talking about weren't alcohol related I'd be surprised, also I'd further recommend those involved have their reproductive organs scraped off by Bob Barker.

I understand fully that 99% of today's news journalists don't know how to report anything but opinion. But what the !@#$ is the world coming to when the goddamn sports reporters are slanting stories? Jeez just report what happened, don't interpret, don't enhance. News guy sees game, news guy reports game. Way to go news guy .
