I take it back, I'm the first to crucify players for bad hits, but earlier on VS they showed it from above, and it wasn't near as bad as I once thought.

I think this is a really good deal overall for both sides, and potentially a steal for Holland if he wins the cup this year like others have said. I take this over some piddly deadline deal myself. -

I will say I like Roenick better in the booth than when he was playing though.

The stories of bending cards and everything like that is true, I saw him do it first hand to a kid and the kid cried his eyes out. Yeah he helped win us the cup I will give you that, but ever since I saw that s*** I have never liked him. He is cocky too if you remember him doing the broadcasts on NBC for that one year where he was trashing Ray Ferarro and his career to Ray Ferarro in the intermission reports, and whatnot. Moral of the story is he is a far cry from his old man.

I watch it every night, but you are correct, it is better now that the deadline is approaching. Other times I find that I can get more information from this board in certain areas...but I still watch it.

While i did love the '97 team, and how they played most of all. There will never be such a stacked team as the '02 one. Mark my words, that team will remain the best the NHL has ever seen for a long time; but more likely will ever see again.
