I am über pleased with the result of this game. I love nothing more than having the Red Wings piss in Chicago's Wheaties.

I hope he breaks his leg. I never liked Hossa even when he was with us. He has no loyalty to anyone, he is a sellout to the dollar and a general low class **** in that way. I know that I sound like I am upset he left or whatnot, but I'm not; in fact I'm glad he is gone screw you Marian Horessa I hope you never win a cup.

Come on everyone, I'm sure that Gordie Howe doesn't read these boards but today is his birthday and he is still going strong at 82. You have to respect Mr. Hockey, and wish him your best today for all he has done for this organization and hockey in general.

I have for the longest time referred to him in conversation and on here as, "J-Ho." Regardless of what you all decide I'm sticking with mine. And aren't all you haters glad that we kept him now?

It is going to be a great day for it, but the Latvia Czech Republic game last night was really great too. I didn't want it to end, and as much as i want the Czechs to do well they didn't deserve it last night.

That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen, but for some reason I love it.

I don't think that he is going to get it back. Hell I didn't think that he would even come back to the sport. If he gets anywhere close to where he was then great for him. If not, then I think we are going to have to let him go like we did Juri Fischer. They aren't the same situations but I think you all can get what I mean.

Yeah, I have full faith in him over Osgood and have for a long long time. And if he is the #1 that you all want him to be being benched for a while shouldn't matter all that much. Even when he is playing all the time he always has some, "Rust," or some other bulls*** that you all use to justify him sucking. He is done stick a fork in him. Let him play out the year, start grooming our other goalies in Grand Rapids, and move on with the franchise.

Osgood isn't the starter anymore, I know alot of you want him to be but he just doesn't have it anymore end of discussion.

Hey, J-Ho is playing better than most in the league and he is looking like he can and will keep this up for a good while. There is no need to be butthurt that Osgood is flopping as of right now and it appears that he won't be in net as often as you think he should or would like. It sucks when your favorite goalies get old and thrown out of the starting position that you always want to picture them in, don't worry it happened to me I was upset when Hasek got ousted from it, never mind he is my favorite goalie of all time, but it is reality. Sure the Vezina is unlikely at this point, but I can see J-Ho winning one in the future too...and sooner than you would think.

He is still a rookie so as far as the Calder goes, yes he is in the running.

To be fair in Slapshot the Charleston Chiefs weren't a professional team...if I'm not mistaken...it has been years since I have seen the film.
