I know it snows here from November to March usually, can Anaheim, San Jose, or L.A. say the same? Didn't think so. California isn't a hockey market, it is like trying to grow Palm Trees outside The Joe. It just doesn't work...but I thought that people on these boards would be sharp enough to pick up on the point that I was conveying.

Actually they did teach me geography here, but last I checked one of those teams hasn't been worth a damn for a long while, and the other has a habit of bowing out of the playoffs real early...either way there shouldn't be hockey teams where you can't play it outside at least 4 months out of the year. Furthermore, there is no excuse for the actions of those fans. Too bad you didn't have an octopus to ***** slap them when they started getting violent.

The way I understood it a goalie can't be a captain. I also thought that it was weird when I read it when they announced that he was...although I think it is an honorary thing. Either way, happy retirement Naslund, always liked you.

After looking at the youtube videos of the hat trick the hats coming out of the stands were a bit excessive, Crosby had a right to *****...ok sarcasm over, that arena went nuts. I would expect nothing less from The Joe and it was an amazing goal. Go cry into your pillow Crosby, I hope that Ovie gets one in Pittsburgh.

It is because we broke up the ZDH line I'm not sold on Hossa. In fact I really hope we don't get him back because most people don't see it this way, but I really think that he has screwed up our team chemistry especially on the first line. Hank does not belong on the second line.

Just let us dream and remember what was with Dom, in his prime he was the best goalie in the NHL hands down. I just wish his last stint ended better than it did, and I stand by my words that I would still love to see him play again.
