As far as the bombardment of Crosby ads.. your profile -does- state you're from Canada. Where I'd imagine the commercials are probably completely different than ours. When I'm watching games that are broadcast on CI that are coming from a Canadian feed - you're right. I don't see much Crosby action. When they're broadcast here in the states? Or even worse.. on Vs? I'd be willing to bet 2:1 on the Crosby vs. anything else NHL related commercial content. It's definitely a matter of region in many places. On my home FSN feed, I get a lot of Blues commercials (Yes - they make them For the record) but I also see generic commercials featuring Crosby, especially the premiere Center Ice commercial which focuses directly on the Penguins, and not the NHL in general. As far as his "fight" is concerned, it looked more like he wasn't even throwing punches. Just grabbing fistfuls of jersey and shaking him in a circle. It looked pretty lame. I'm going to check out hockeyfights.com and see their reactions. I'm anticipating it'll be highly entertaining.

We're throwing a pretty sweet party here in KC at my brother's house I'm already organizing who's bringing what and spending a pretty good chunk of time over there the next couple weeks trying to help them get their living room in order (two bachelors who move into a house, throw everything they own into the living room = FAIL) and then it's so on. My oldest brother is flying in today from Germany on leave and he made special plans to stay later to catch the Winter Classic with us, since he wasn't in the States for last years. Especially rough on him since he's a Pens fan. Anyone planning a Crosby drinking game yet? I'm contemplating it, since I'll have a DD, but I don't think leaving those 3 in a drunken stupor would be a smart move.

NHL.com jumped the gun big time on this game tonight. I got a text during the SO stating that Phoenix beat Detroit 4-3 in regulation >.> then 15 minutes later after the shootout, I get another stating we won 5-4. At least I had faith we'd push OT. I'm SO glad I was able to see this game. I signed up for post-game text messages for the few games I have to miss out of the season. If I'd have been out and got that, then got home and saw a different score I'd be FURIOUS. (But then happy that we actually pulled out the W )

These Dallas color guys are killing me They started out tonight saying if Dallas put themselves in the box tonight they'd be "committing suicide" and were giggling about the first goal going "Of all the offensive power on this team... LEBDA scores.." Do they hang with us on LGW or something?
